Another great question - and now is the time to ask them:
So, the rules stipulate no prose, that it has to be poetry. What about haibun? It?s an established poetic form, but it combines a prose poem and haiku.
Would a haibun be acceptable?
The rule says:
Poetry, Not Prose. Entries must be in the format of lines and stanzas, not sentences and paragraphs. How "poetic" your entry is IS A NON-ISSUE.
I would say a haibun is acceptable as long as it's in the acceptable format of lines and/or stanzas. No sentences or paragraphs. And of course, it must contain 50 unique words.

Thank you, I considered it at great length mainly for the opportunity to interact with a larger circle. I just don’t feel I could manage the rules or keep to the schedule so I’ll root for you all and read, read, read!

I've personally discovered that the more difficult the rules the greater the feeling of accomplishment. Our registrant return rate is around 98% over 8-years, so the rules really aren't that difficult once you brave the challenge once. They just seem overwhelming the first go-round.
You would, however, have to post daily, or twice daily if life interferes and causes you to miss a day. I think you're underestimating yourself, but no one knows you like you, so who am I to argue?!
