I am trying to integrate my cat with a feral cat so I can bring him in for the winter. I will admit this is not going well. While they don't hiss at one another any longer, and I can leave the door open between them, it appears that as long as he doesn't cross the threshold to enter the house, she is fine; and as long as she doesn't cross the threshold of the door to go outside, he is fine. But after I pet him, she is PISSED, while he doesn't care one way or another if I pet her.
Any tips on integrating two adult cats?

good morning dearest Ahavati it's funny you should be talking about this today I have feral cats and friendly cats and I feed them together I was just thinking this morning about why they don't get along and I have to referee their eating sessions...I haven't come up with a way to stop this usually I stand over them and shew off any cat hissing...
here is a picture of some of them...Sammy, Whiskers, Midnight and Striped Cat...

LOL @ "striped cat"! I have four outside but the never eat at the same time ( except for once ). That's the thing, they never hiss at one another or fight outside. I would love to bring Leo inside along with the solid white cat ( I haven't named him yet because I thought he was a girl but turns out he's not ). Then there's a gray and white one, and a grey and yellow one. The latter two won't come near but Leo and the white one loved to be loved! That is why I wish I could bring them inside.
But Kali. . .
Robert - relish it!

Sometimes things are just black and white! They know their respective food bowls too.
