You and Me
The sun was shining bright in the sky
you drove us there In your car
where we walked up the hill holding hands
messing around and laughing something
we hadn’t done in a while
I loved how you swung out on that old rope
screaming like a hyena on the way in
then we sat under that tree in the shade with
you between my legs laying on me
We raced to the tip top of the hill then fooled around on the way back down, grabbed some lunch from subway and drove to the car park in the sky
Where we are together in the hot sun, eating across the table sharing my nachos your meat balls even our subways it felt like we where just happy together, Just us

It’s Cosmic
Most humans in society do not have a shied or armor, only the faith they enwrapped their burdens in thy Deity’s arms
Silently protecting their presence from Mother Nature or, hopefully, mental harm
In a harsh world so timeless and moving so fast
To give solitude to the heart. It’s always best not to dwell in the sins of the past
Learn to live and breathe as if it’s your last
Destiny Karma Fate
The trifecta of life’s abundance when we articulate
Mind, Body, and Spirit to our persona as death lays in wait
Can anybody out there harmoniously relate
The magnificence alliance found in the mystical number of three
Creation, Death, Reborn
Does it give us a pass into an ethereal admission within our natural state of existence while reaping knowledge from the sacred tree
Roots we plant, nourishing baggage’s of hate, deceit, envious, and scorn
Fragile intellects shattered; dark hearts torn
It’s the trilogy of this galaxy, it gets us through, it gets us by
No one can have their pie down here and eat it the sky
And yes, I’m crowned of ancient Queens, it’s in my DNA certified and humbly glorified
Whispers to have your eyes fixated your cerebral cortex tranquillized
Melodic sensations to you, meekly sent
To be one with self is a passion spent, unrelent
Into the sacrosanct cove of femininity, vintage endurance, beautiful in the animated suspense
The promise of my ancient scrolls dipped in my black wisdom, singing the Psalms under my quill
Take of my spirit in benediction, to heal dreams, deliverance of tears, aspirations come forth from that Heavenly wishing well
Unto me and unto you
Enthuse, amuse, never to systematically abuse
Actually, I think it’s just downright sexy, so serene
To be the painting on the canvas of someone else’s blissful dreams
As a nightingale, I’ve seen my far share
Living among angel’s wings, in the shadows of hope, and a hollowed prayer
Reminisce of Heaven and Earth entangled in its beautiful affair
When looking over the peaks of those mountaintops
The Wiccan of humanity seems to have Hell on lock
Too hot for me
Souls cannot soar above in vibrations of a darken plight, devoid of its spotlight
I illuminate in light twisting my cosmic magic key
Quiet storms brewing on the horizon, graces lost beings in the rain, shrouds their enrapture in the need
Someone up there still loves us I see
The beat of your own drums, does it not feel good to self, sounds sweet
It makes it much easier to dusk discomfort from the soles of your feet
I like my rendezvouses with the Sun and the Moon
It keeps confusion out
No doubt
Never denounce the triumph of your truth
If it is found in the core of you
The principles of your creed
So please take heed
Therefore, treat others kind
If not receptive in nature, then bless their passage, and pay them no mind
Colored skies so vibrant and so blue
Caressing inner strength, each day revel in those feeling anew
Silently protecting their presence from Mother Nature or, hopefully, mental harm
In a harsh world so timeless and moving so fast
To give solitude to the heart. It’s always best not to dwell in the sins of the past

Mythic Kiss
Mythic Kiss
Lips stray into the forbidden zone
Where satin stars sink into pores
That breathe like a Greek chorus
Of salty rhythms of a tango priestess
Whose sunken treasure lies in smoky sunset
Waiting for Puck to pluck her blossom
With the delicacy of darkened grapes
Filled with the fire of a Merlot Monet
Her taste for the sacramental wine
Finds fruition in the fruit of his vine
Whose seedlings sprout like vineyard orphans
That find roots in her trellis of tresses
Where strands dance on his hatter’s ribbon
To tease the sleeping dragon
From his virgin hermitage
Where a velvet kiss summons the troglodyte
Of Cyclops awakened from caverns of Minos
To revel in a labyrinth of maidenhood
And drink the soma from the lotus flowers
That run wild like hyacinth in her Buddhapond
Under the sun of a million summers
Whose petals are tongues of flaming swords
That sever the Gordian knot
To unleash the Selkie
From the bestiary of fable
When the kiss of the seal woman
Upon the cairn of his Druidic delight
Awakens the dawn of her knight
Lips stray into the forbidden zone
Where satin stars sink into pores
That breathe like a Greek chorus
Of salty rhythms of a tango priestess
Whose sunken treasure lies in smoky sunset

There is a poet
I know who writes
to garner attention
from any babes
who swing by
their way
there is a poet
I know who writes
because they are
clawing on to life
one day at a time,
there is a poet
I know who writes
because they can't
be at peace until
every last word
has been written
there is a poet
I know who writes
because they don't
understand who
they truly are,
there is a poet
I know who writes
because they know
life has a way of
gutting you every
minute at a time
there is a poet
I know who writes
because they are
always on the road,
there is a poet
I know who writes
because that's all
they have known
like oxygen
each word
gives us life
but giving
words mean
standing in
your own
exhibition
naked to
the bones,
simply do
or don't.

Spider Goddess of the Cosmic Web
In domains of twilight, where I may espy
Some chance of seeing the clouds parting,
The fangs of the crescent moon awakening
Within me the stirrings of the night's fury.
Some think it dark that I find such peace
In places where ruins meet the woodland,
And dark forests by all people abandoned
Where the scent of pine helps do me ease.
I am one of the children of the night now
There is no returning whence I have come,
No repenting of all the things I have done
Since my spirit became as black as a crow.
In my darkness I am now more complete
For there is in the night a solace day lacks,
A tight devotion to which can never slack
The will that is mine, sensuous and sweet.
Seductive is the night, serenading songs
That are not for living ears, only my own,
Which are sensitive enough to thus roam
Wherever the music lingers lovely, long.
Some fear me, for I await in the shadow
I am one with the dark between the stars,
At peace with my pain and with my scars
Forsaken by the light of a fairer meadow.
In isles of mist, in domains of dire dread
Between worlds, my feet have traversed,
Places where my lips spoke unholy verse
And the company I kept was of the dead.
This is who I am, and all I have become
Happy to be apart from the heavenly host,
Even if I must fade and be as unto a ghost
I will be content beneath a far blacker sun.
A witch some call me, a demonic terror
Like a spider, with a web that is cosmic,
I weave my sorcery, never being lethargic
And those who fear me are not in error!
We existed before mankind was birthed
My eldritch kindred and I, and our magic,
Worked with science not bound by logic
Filling us with no small delightful mirth.
When the hour is right, then once again
We shall rule all creation, bereft of pain.

Flowers Spin
Flowers spin and flowers fly!
If I can catch the petals as they go
Maybe they won't reach the sky,
If I can send them someplace I know.
Some land of magical let's pretend,
Where all their pretty colors never fade
And springtime never needs to end!
Isn't that why magic flowers were made?
Flowers spin and flowers fall!
If I throw them from the back porch
Will they take root and grow really tall?
Sorry that is not how real magic works.
Only in some land of let's pretend,
Where magic can actually do anything
And springtime never needs to end!
Fairies fly there, their wings shimmering.
Flowers spin and flowers sing!
If I listen, I can hear their music now
It causes me to giggle and grin,
And in the end it makes me go “wow”.

Where Shadows Sing
The bright folk fled, fading fast!
Long ago, sometime in the past,
Before some oaks were seedlings.
From homes and fastness fleeting,
Their light too terrible to pass on.
It was the end of their every song!
To those who knew them not at all,
They may weep for their final fall.
On steed and ship, fast away,
Trying to outrun sun and day.
Fleeing the night that comes,
Their enchantments all undone.
By one who knew them well,
Enough to know their evils.
Masked by goodness, so cold!
Fooling all but the truly bold,
Guided by the eye that sees.
They pass beyond even the trees,
The foolish fair folk in flight,
Who saw their end with fright.
One among them dared turn,
Even if it meant that he burn!
To face the one that all feared.
In black fire flesh was seared,
That of the one who tried to fight.
He could not conquer the night!
The sun was lost behind eclipse,
As fire reached the fair ones' ships.
By other harbors their haste,
Would carry the fair ones' grace.
Lost though it was and faded,
A people hounded and jaded!
Betrayers of the one they hated,
Who now sought vengeance sated.
Where shadows sing they all weep,
In their exile, their place of retreat.
No tree remains that saw their exit!
Their past is gone, their glory forfeit.
Undone, one and all by their pride,
The fair folk now in shadows abide.
In places one they called impure,
As they fled for their pristine shore.
They became all that they did abhor!

Sleep:The Land of the Nod
Nightfalls...Evening Calls...A child kneels by his bed...Nightly prayers memorized and said. Sweet dreams, your mother coo's and kisses your forehead. Big yawns and tired eyes seeing his mother waving goodbye. No can heard the far away cries, for his bedroom door is sealed with bricks...No escaping these nightmare of tricks. Dusk is gone, the night is long as the impenetrable darkness swallowed the last bit of light. The ceiling above vanished away... Enshroud heights of vast black space, no stars, no moon to guide your way. Endless, infinite space, a darken cosmic blanket that smothers thee. Oddities of unknown creatures circle your bed. Unconscious mind, paralyzed body, death sleep of slumber welcomes "The Land of the Nod" Infernal magic of nefarious nightmares of ambiguity reality, found at the bottom of the rabbit hole, where the Devil doesn't even go. No route of return, no windows of light, no doors of escape, prisoners of the NIGHT !!!

Inside the Roaring of Summer: A Poetic Song
- Inside the Roaring of Summer: A Poetic Song -
A poetry collaboration between myself (Kara Lucielle Pythiana-Ashton) and Ivo Lamplot-Asle Nezorf.
Ivo is a friend of mine on Facebook, who is from the Czech Republic. This is our combined creation.
Inside the roaring of the gentlest of winds,
Inside the depths of the happiest of minds...
It is summer, upon the inside of our souls!
The season of delight, the one that consoles.
The sun rises so early in the hours of dawn,
Golden upon the green of the verdant lawn...
And is late to bed, keeping us wide awake.
The sun rises early and goes to bed so late!
Someone is singing, in a powerful voice. Calling, calling! Yearning!
Someone is singing, by a divine choice! Calling, calling! Returning!
You look out the window, the sun smiling,
You are captivated, the light is so beguiling!
Birds are singing and joy is flying in hearts.
Yours and mine, and others in distant parts!
It is summer, and dragonflies are reflecting,
In the glow of afternoon, eyes all detecting...
The surface of the river, and what is therein.
The warm night comes, and is soon to begin!
Someone is singing, in a powerful way. Crying, crying! Joyfully!
Someone is singing, to greet a new day! Crying, crying! Tearfully!
Joyful is the moment, as the heart is happy,
Holding hands amid the hour's great dignity.
Already from nature one is led to the dance,
Lovers in love with summer, as if in trance...
Running towards the sun, there is no return.
Blessed by the season in a new heat to burn!
Under a clear sky, lying down on the grass,
Next to each other, I feel your warm grasp.
Someone is singing, in a powerful tone. Calling, calling! Yearning!
Someone is singing, so far from home! Calling, calling! Returning!
Hearts of fools, or mad lovers lost in dreams,
My blue eyes are like the sea, or cool streams.
Your love for me, soft as sand inside the soul,
When I hold your hand, I may lose all control.
The world will turn, as I walk the garden soil,
My feet bare and my heart free from every toil.
Everything spins and turns, and day is passing,
As night descends, to find us so softly kissing!
Someone is singing, of a life and a life. Crying, crying! Joyfully!
Someone is singing, and ending all strife. Crying, crying! Tearfully!
It takes a fool's heart, and a love that is insane,
To create a world so ruled by love once again!

Silently protecting their presence from Mother Nature or, hopefully, mental harm

our
sips of
bliss
in tremor
ridden
kisses
we decipher
an ancient
language
in the
baring of
our naked souls
vulnerable
boundaries
stretched
by our
limitless
ripples
joyously
enslaved
to passion
our known
fires forever
ignited

a yarn unwinding
It feels more like a falling winter.
A child in tinfoil gowns,
steak knife curlers,
the ocean dries when she frowns.
Not enough cigarettes to measure with my heart,
the magnitude of unlove you gave me.
Clench, release,
open just to be crushed.
I had a dream of frogs,
fucking, and turning into people,
but not of how to transform back.
I see the white tiger through the trees.
it seems to call to me,
like it always has,
to follow.
Though I take a step I am terrified.
I am suicide.
The tiger is resting, patient in this brush.
He never rushes me.
A great resting sign, to give in to
give up to,
that serenity
of non silence,
an unending scream.
Sometimes I stop and look
at the yarn tangling between my hands,
and think impossibly of
scientific men, debating knitting.

Visions Of Feast
I'm the child born in mystery
A star dwarfed by eternity
One day silence reached out to me
One day Winter raked in its leaves
I saw the snake vore history
Its jaws embraced all time to be
One day madness will covet me
I'll sate, splintered internally
I'm the seer of misery
A black kiss from the enemy
One day magic will fill the breeze
One day hunger is all you'll see
I have felt the ley lines twitch, teased
I will watch their castles stroke, bleed.
