Unpopular opinions
There are sooooo many conspiracy theories, and I don't have time for most of them. Unfortunately, I know two people who believe absolutely everything they read, and they stick to dark corners of the Web instead of factual evidence. I wrote a frustrated poem about such guff during NaPo (will try to link in a minute) which fell a bit flat. Either people didn't read all the way to the end, or didn't appreciate the fact that I was being sardonic. Oh well.
Misinformation
Don't listen to the news reports, for everything is wrong;
the outlets have been briefed to make sure that you play along.
From Elvis to Diana, to the football in Zagreb,
you'll only find the truth in the dark corners of the Web.
Forget the science 'experts' for they are all being controlled;
the world is run by factions with a mandate to withhold.
There's no such thing as proof, and no need for peer review;
everything you've ever learnt is patently untrue.
There really was no Holocaust, or even a moon landing;
all the so-called 'evidence' has caused misunderstanding.
Mass shooting is a hoax, and global warming's manufactured
to cover up the fact that all the governments are fractured.
Covid is man-made and is transmitted by 5G—
Alternatively, it's not real, and won't happen to me.
The vaccine has a microchip designed by one Bill Gates,
to take away your freedom, and give it to the states.
The chemtrails are to make you sick so Big Pharma can profit,
so if you're taking insulin, it's better to come off it.
Dispense with your inhaler if you want to stay alive—
for logic is the enemy, where two plus two makes five.
Deceit about the world means things are not as they appear:
your Satnav has been tampered with to look like Earth's a sphere.
Biden's not the President, there's a plot to overthrow;
I found out in my friend's dad's cousin's YouTube video.

Only one of these has compelling evidence for me, but I'm still on the fence. I'm not saying which one at the moment, but would be interested to know what others think and why.
