Vacation, vacation.
Coastal Features
Open wide your mouth of gargled sand,
rivers spit their rocks from dribbled lips.
Ocean light collides with rolling skies,
storm-cats claw their kittens from the tide.
Footprints throw up stubble on smooth cheeks
sea-foam slides its white from wave to sand,
once again the Barber’s whetted-blade
scrapes its trade across your weathered face.
If I would dare to climb and brush bleached curls
of coloured shrubs that wave across your brow.
Then I could rest and feel the pounding calm,
that calls me here to heal within your arms.

Vacation is All I Ever...
I got an extra five hundred in my account
The wife and I are going a little on vacation
We’re going to drive up the scenic coastline
Just a little getaway from our regular vocations
We plan to make stops at shops and diners
For some quality alone time - together
We’re going to eat good food and libations
Enjoying the great California summer weather
We load up the car and start driving up the coast
Feeling the sea breeze as the music is bumpin’
Singing the lyrics to songs we’ve always loved
With hands out the windows and fists pumpin’
Then suddenly reality hit and it all went to shit
We had to stop somewhere to fill up for gas
(Or petrol) wherever you are, it’s hella expensive
And so half of our budget was gone very fast

That's a bit of the idea. Maybe to make you work hard on a concept. PS; you might look at the items already submitted. 500$ can lead to wonderful surprises and not too far from home either. As for MOI (as miss Piggy would say), I took a chunk of my tiny vacation budget and turned it into a three month pass for that superb swimming pool at the Olympic Stadium across the street from where I live.
