Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

This to all faithful, beloved readers,
and literary industry leaders
I am pleased to announce,
my next poem’s sure to be great,
a genuine page-turner.
well maybe not quite so lengthy.
a one, maybe half pager full stop
nonetheless a barn burner
replete with passion, ardent promiscuity
oops! That particular genre of verse
will have to wait till the first of later
I’ll remain within the bounds
of scintillating, passionate banality
filled with erudite social commentary
guaranteed the hoity toitiest of slop
or, perhaps a sad, sad story
of a pathetic, lonely dromedary

I'd like to congratulate cloventongue on his runner up mention. I'd like to thank the voters, captains and admins, and to PR for hosting this prompt comp. I ran with 62 poems this April. I found inspiration by each of the prompts and suggestions. I'm grateful for having been given the chance to have an opinion and sharing it.

Thank you for the honor.
