Is family holding you back ?

No, family do not hold people or one self's back, if family member's find some thing wrong it is because the person turned emo. And, the family is trying to help their family member out I use to not agree with family member's, getting into every last detail of thing's other family member's do,..now I do agree with it.

Although sometimes one might be so "unfortunate" (for lack of a better word at the moment) to find oneself surrounded by a family so very strange to one's inner being. In which case one should be especially kind and patient (because the heart responds to kindness) in due time, they'll support your dreams and ideals.
If the case is extreme then one should quietly set up base outside the family's radar and live the life best suited to one's self. The effort and personal drive required to achieve this is ridiculous because of what the world has turned to.
Still, no matter what the situation is, life is so much easier if a person wins his/her family over instead of picking up arms against. "No man is an island..." You know how the rest goes.
And to answer your question; No. My family supports me. I learn to love every single one of them more each day.

It is sometimes easy to say that the rope around you is holding you back, when in fact it is the last thing stopping you from falling. Families can hold people back but often have the best intentions at heart and that the path forwards is uncertain and completely different from the path of their own time.
It is not simply a case of going forwards alone and being the best; it is better to move nowhere but with love of family around you than reach the stars only to find them cold as you have no one to share it with.

I have 6 siblings, many aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
But for my sanity and to be happy I had to let them go.... walk away.... they were cruel
So just my son and I against the world..... and I give him everything they couldn't give me.
