Poetry Contest

No more then 10 lines
The details are listed in the title.
I'm very interested, new at this and twisted.
Full of heart full of anger and empty of fuel for even a flicker of hope for how to really start over, when my can't let Go's won't let the shit end

The day I decided

A broken warrior will still fight for survival,
losing my grip I do the same,
no cover or comfort found here,
no warmth inside my stomach.

Should my ground be guarded,
before our words find ways to hurt,
stretch my neck to be noticed
above the weight of our mistakes.

The calm of nights decision brings no flight,
so here we stay, translucent in our decay.

i’ll fight you forever

because you kissed your way into my spine
you locked me out and told me
it was my fault for going outside

you told me to figure it out
and treated me like a child
i let you see me lose control
get sick
be high
on you
and you didn’t wanna take care of me
because that job was supposed to be
all mine

i figured that out

i can be better than this
and i was ready
but you had to hang me

out to dry

Breaking

The heartbreak of never
knowing why
you left forever
Never knowing what
broke your heart
Never Knowing when
your love turn
to ashes in your mind
Never shall I know how
to bring you back
to this hour, this now
of needing and desire:
You just left.

I Stand

I stand where the ocean meets the sand
As I cry one foot is wet the other is dry
My Heart is in the middle my soul tears me apart
A sunrise is filled with the warmth of your eyes
A sunset is filled with darkness and regrets
If I disappear the truth will become clear
If I stand tall there’s no evidence of the fall
I can no longer live my mind cannot forgive
Do I let go or surrender to the ebb and flow
I stand where the ocean meets the sand

The Breakdown

Falling into the abyss the rocks felt like a million needles
Every one of them with a furious blast
Icicles tearing away at eyelids feeling fucking evil
Each one becoming worst than the last
But from there, there’s no way to go but up
Unless you dig Deep Underground
At the core you begin to understand the upheaval
All the while you slide into the breakdown
And then, when there is nothing left
All you can do is move forward

like the wind.

run
as if thine own feet wing'ed and lighter than this heady wicked air
run
as fast as a blue leopardess in all her ferocious steady stare
run
from toxins, that sear and singe upon once tender, now burning flesh
run
in an ardent purpose driven by a claimed honor all but repossessed
run
as drops of curdled blood pulse from eyes that blur with tortured sting
run
as reddened sputum streams out a mouth which once, such glory sing
run
with a chest exploding in implosion of all truths eroding
run
so... far .......   far... away from here, where the pain of excruciate

no longer reverberates so crystal clear
