No worries JB
I have just come out of a week that started as a sense of defeatism
After plowing through reaching lows and finally touching highs
My spirit has been renewed cleansed and reminded that my energy is sempiternal
It's direction,  focused and temporary within the bigger picture

New word coming .....

Haha...I live in Adelaide, South Australia, and by the beach...we are entering our summer, we get not much rain and temperatures that hit 105 degrees...much like your weather.

a lifelong gasp in bloom.

i lay
coveted
and covered
euphoric heart's desire-
'O herculean desire
that steals my breath;
i gladly gasp in bloom
my whole world
of these always and forever dreams—
how I gleam
to transcend and glow
with pounding chest;
a scented crest
tears undying, flow
as this true loves yearling,
My love, lavender
sweet field of true,
pure purple beauty
bursting forth
from nature's hand,
~whispers a release
of her certainty
in royal majesty
i pause,
in a wholely ardent still
laying forevermore
spellbound
and cradled
within nature's
breathless surround

The Word of The Week is an easy one

LAVENDER
NOUN

Abandoned

An abandoned tire
fades off the highway;
its heart, vibrant in lavender growth—
proving our ability to flourish
despite being old and discarded
