The Rapture and Second Coming of Jesus according to Agee was supposed to occur before the Millenium when the asteroid Rahab that Satan lived on approached Earth. In fact, according to her, the key to being Raptured was to be wearing white as a sign to Jesus to take you away, like it was your access code.
Needless to say, it never happened. The author churned out more books explaining that she got the dates wrong; it was still going to happen, yada yada yada; even more books to justify why it didn't happen yet, yada ....
And now you can't find her books anywhere unless you dig through thrift stores, because she blew all her credibility in believing her own interpretations of Revelations and so forth and thinking she could be instrumental in sparing people from having to suffer through Armaggedon.
I guess my whole point is, its never the prophecy itself that is bullshit.

A vision or a dream is pretty much useless if it isn't fully addressed. These would be no different from a terribly ambiguous poem that you could draw innumerable conclusions from. Some people can recall their sleep dreams in great vivid detail from start to finish. Most people can only give you a slight overview.
And if I have any issues with the popular or major prophecies we are familiar with today, it's that. Call it Bad poetry or Bad storytelling.
Bad poetry can sound like Great poetry on the surface, until you further examine it to see that it lacks the substance necessary to fully inform the reader about what is actually going on in the poem itself.
Some people think that Good poetry is poetry that leaves the reader somehow affected. Well, I could affect you too if I kicked you in the nuts or spray painted your eyeballs. Not much of a story required there.
