Song For The Living
When two souls meet
street light on bare feet
there goes my heartbeat
you blow me away
the cry of a new born
and the light of a new dawn
the sweater that's over-worn
you blow me away
and all of these things they come to pass
as a smile is worn day by day
and I will be another student in the class (we call life)
'cause... I know no other way
those damn busy honey bees
the silence of green leaves
my rolled up shirt sleeves
in a wild sorta way
I can't forget your face
how it lights up the whole place
you are my saving grace
and I hope you stay
and all of these things they come to pass
as a smile is worn day by day
and I will be another student in the class (we call life)
'cause I know no other way

You always and forever have been my rock,
Even when I'm lost at sea and far from the Dock.
I've said it before, you're always there when I need,
And all of your advice I do honestly heed.
You're always there to help me through my foggy mental state,
More than just my Mum, you're my best mate.
You'll never really know, just how grateful I am,
You balance me out, you're the Yin to my Yan.
To me you will always be, an absolute legend,
Everyday you should know, that my love is sent.
In times of hardship, when I'm in the eye of the storm,
Your words and love make me feel safe and warm.
I'll always be here for you whenever you like,
You make me soar in the sky, like a majestical kite.
I love you so much its really untrue,
I just pray that I, am a great Son to you.
