I watched it the Londonreal interview of 18th March; will catch up - been following Icke off and on since the mid-1990s. He joins the dots in an interesting and convincing way. What he says is an important POV that, at least, everyone should be aware of (imho), even if one disagrees with his line of thinking.

(Highly recommend you watch him first, then decide if you want to read him. His writing assumes a very high bar of his readers. I read him with a dictionary on hand, and often divert off on side quests to follow his references....I once did that and read two(!) books by Dawkins before I came back to page 38 or whatever it was....he was a beast!)
