Not really in this situation...it’s less than a 10% difference. Each will be publishing on a different 24 hour cycle, which will account for some of it, plus this data is coming from everywhere....in Palau a guy rides to the medical persons house on a bicycle....data delivery is far from perfect.

And that's exactly why I stuck with Worldometer after a few weeks of tracking them all. It seemed to update the fastest.

I think it’s that US thing again, where what they really fear is their own government, fuelled by gun lobby $$$ feeding/funding fear campaigns.
Probably also works for the entire country in helping them justify to themselves why they have the most heavily armed country in history, why military personnel are instant heroes, why continued defeats are reframed as necessary police actions or examples of bringing freedom....hard to see how you could vote in a system like that unless you really believed the most dangerous country on the planet was “somebody else”, and not actually yourselves.

that is the same as taking no action whatsoever. and like we were saying earlier, 60% of the population infected is too many for the nhs. they’ve run pandemic simulators many times before and the computer says many people will die.
ireland is even more fucked as regards healthcare
... so even if it’s too late, the government now must pretend to try, and blame the public and their personal failure if their lungs fail waiting in a&e
