The orchard
In the begining god did plant
An orchard but of one
it sprung from ground with twig and branch
He looked on with grace
And said and now its done
So blessed a sapling fast it grew
Of buds profuse abound
The limbs entwined as the sun shone down
And all of natures paradise was new
There was Eden all around
One tree spawn all forest
Wood to conceal all seeds that fall
Adam and the Eve the flesh and blood
A fig leaf because he was modest
Its spread to cover all
Springs blossom how they pretty
Bees cluster round to do their work
Neath canopy they carved some treachery
And whisper that conspiracy
That arboretum if only it could talk
To do the serpents dirty deed
To pick with hands as he could not
A glance perhaps just one would not be missed
Just hanging there between the leaves
The orchard its windfalls of deceit
Hang down and fall within your easy reach
An orchard but of one
it sprung from ground with twig and branch
He looked on with grace
And said and now its done
So blessed a sapling fast it grew
Of buds profuse abound
The limbs entwined as the sun shone down
And all of natures paradise was new
There was Eden all around
One tree spawn all forest
Wood to conceal all seeds that fall

Of Moss And Pride
I the child of green
fit fine to forest floors
the bed of moss under Mother of pearl crush leaf to folded arm
we stretch together every vine tip to tree
the mushroom morel and may-apple dram
that Ash and Oak press on
the weight of them
staggers this lay of land
I watch the holler meander down protected valleys, kissed by honeysuckle and silver bedded streams
we eat of raspberry, blackberry and elder licking sweet nectar whilst thinking jam
tap slowly the maple tree and let firm the sap
sugar-cubes to hand awaiting Winters ride.
The Oak grove ornate, where Black and Chestnut loom, our
strength shines in hues green to gold
the vein of protection and respect entwine with the soul,
low... art we and the old One
The Faerie and Dryad know their sacred circles
magics that adorn, wistful, breathing life to a sun-lit glow
these windows never forget, once brought through the ever present glass,
this veil of ominous tied with absolution
as the devil beat his wife, I would find myself time and time again
beneath stalwarts.
Evening mist rolls, the hug to hillside lay dense as we sigh
for completeness, arcane wisdoms of Weeping Willow,
lost creek roads, bent with the way of the world.
Safety resides in her gentle arms,
this a guarantee
as the wash of her voice soothes the inner beast.
We are prostrate, humbled and broken before her
as a branch sings reassurance like none other
the forest glide of elegance
Dip in the sphere of a forest grove
losing ones self and finding again
refresh
we the weeds of forest bane
have stoked the fires of shame
yet champions...
The debt remains for respect

Two Trees
I am...
...I know I am...
...I believe I am...
...I am... I am... two trees.
If all-knowing implies knowing any/all,
does all-believing imply believing any/all..?
...I am...
...I am...
two trees.
If belief is (in and of itself) a state of being in which ignorance resides,
is knowledge (in and of itself) a state of being in which ignorance resides, not..?
...I am...
...I am...
two trees.
If all-believing begets all belief-based ignorance, what purpose might knowledge serve (to protect against)?
If any all-knowing god exists, would it not all-knowingly know what all not to believe (and knowingly why)?
...I am...
...I am...
two trees.
If any/all belief-based ignorance *requires* belief itself (would that any believer believe so-called evil is good),
does any/all knowledge-based-knowing *require* (so as to never confuse) knowing any/all of what not to "believe"?
...I believe I am...
...one tree...
I know I am...
...one tree...
I am... I am...
...two trees...
and in between
them is a 'that'
so know I am
to know 'that':
else is belief.
Any/all knowledge is by way of trying any/all belief, but
not any/all belief is by way of trying to know all.

A Song of Harmony
The air up here is thinner,
Cleaner,
And the views are quite amazing,
Almost mystic,
As you walk through the forest,
The trees are simply beautiful,
And majestic.
Amidst the crowds of visitors taking photographs,
There is something different in the atmosphere,
Here the giants keep secrets,
Ancient wisdom of the ages,
Knowledge of Mother Earth.
The trails are filled with people,
From different parts of the world,
And yet the giants stand there quietly,
Their leaves swaying,
Whispering,
Curious of our interest in them.
The sequoias seem to chant a song,
When the winds blows,
Their voices raising to the sky,
In a sea of trees in the mountain breeze,
and greenery,
The scenery of nature and beauty,
For the human eye.
The majestic giants whisper to each other,
In the gentle wind,
A song of harmony.

Dude, that last stanza. *Does that chef fingers kiss thing when something is tasty* This whole thing slays.

Willow Reverent Fascination
One could see she had spent much time with this tree…
in order to see
so deeply into its history…
and its soul…
As she sat on the banks
of the river... a breeze
caused the leaves...
of the Willow to shiver...to rustle
to quiver...
to whisper into the lady's ear
all the things her soul needed to hear...
