Take a walk with me...fellas
Realization
Where did it all go wrong?
Was it in the decisions from the past?
Did the consequences of all the choices
Finally come all together at last?
In the accumulation of outcomes,
Out comes the truth into the light,
Secrets and sins now shed their skins,
Revealing themselves in a restless rite.
And it’s in the moment of the realization,
When the answers come barreling down,
The questions I once asked myself,
I now wish I hadn’t found.
I realize the truth is necessary,
Even when I felt it in my bones,
But it’s just one things in life,
I guess I should have known.
