I hope if you are interested, you will go beyond my link.

So it's a simulation
the world we live in
binary equations
integer to digital
earth the big volcano
in 2012 did erupt
aliens manned their
stations, uploaded
us to this world
in a parallel multiverse
do you buy
what they sell to us
as just being right
and that the problems
with us
when people who died
are now alive
as such
and famous names
and signs
are nothing like
they once was
all past decisions
can't decide
do we reside
by screen from touch
films with poignant lines
are just like time
linear mush
and everything with life
never lived or died
no rust or dust
it's enough to blow
a mind, outside
the black and white
of trust.

ESOTERIC : CONFABULATION

Disharmonic oscillations of words and silence
Echoing, refracted by walls of abyssal cognizance
There is a margin of error, by time determined
Information discerned through clouded synapses

Shelves of the brain are less reliable than once thought
A memory so distinct and clear, yet fictitious
How could we ever know that they are false?
Or possibly even tampered with?

Albeit unproven, this brings to light further issues
The reality we know is entirely fabricated by perception
Subtle alterations are perceived, yet impossible to prove
Our epistemology sculpted by malleable elements

We may simply be misled by the convergence of multiple histories
The same stories told by differing authors

And now there is a paranoid itching sensation
To have read countless writs that have not been scrawled
Perhaps lapses in the waning tide of the causality
Of the lack of certainty in myself and reality, I am appalled

Perhaps induced by dreams, artificial pathways
Vectors pointed outward from epiphany
Signals converging upon the periphery
One day, all returns to the global conscience

To sweep the inconsistencies away

Berenstain??
I think not.
More like,
This is clearly just evidence of a parallel universe that was split off sometime around the turn of the century and roughly half of us (those who aren't (probably) lizard-people) were transported to the new universe while the other half must have stayed behind where it was spelled BerenstEin because those who claim it was always BerenstAin (the (most likely) lizard-people) look the same as their parallel universe counterparts always looked to us "Normals" (as we should and therefore will be called) which obviously proves that the split was instantaneous and imperceptible but nonetheless definitely happened.

More like that.

When wolves lie with lambs
they claimed
If you build it
He will come

Who is this man they speak of
and
was there six  seats in that ill fated car

Perhaps
life
never was like a chocolate box

Necklacing (Winnie Mandela style)

Give me a necklace set it on fire
Pearls are more expensive than a tire
Noble peace prize isn’t nice
Do I have to strike this match twice?

XP

Windows XP
are you sure?!

Yes.
It's the old version

I'm not sure...

Windows XP or older...

[I work in the Tech industry and people... Even people and technicians that should now better have been insisting that their software only works on earlier versions of Windows, when it clearly doesn't. #MandelaEffectInAction. It has been happening for the last few months.)

Thank you, Duncan
I've heard that.

False Memory

I could’ve sworn I’ve been here before,
This isn’t déjà vu, I know I’ve seen your face,
Or is it a false memory? My alternative reality,
Angel from my dream, my saving grace.

Slowly I begin to feel the nostalgia sink in,
That long forgotten longing that never existed,
It’s a feeling I resisted or I thought I had fought,
But my mind is becoming tangled and twisted.

I know I have said these words before and swore,
That I would never feel this way again but then,
I always felt I knew but now this place is new,
I thought I’d feel like this way until the very end.

But now you’re telling me this is not real,
That the truth is tilted from what I actually see,
I cannot recall the time I lost touch with it all,
Maybe I’m just remembering my fantasy.

This hysteria, is exciting and a little mysterious,
The way I reminisce about this provoking abyss,
The caverns of my mind are losing track of time,
And space and place and everything gone amiss.

So I go back and read the verses feeling so certain,
That I’m not making up the emotion again and again,
But I can’t find them, it seems they’ve all disappeared,
Like lost pages of a book written, torn, never penned.

But I know I’ve been here before, I’ve seen your face,
This isn’t déjà vu, angel from my dream, my saving grace.

The Effects of Loneliness & Soul Mutilation

I get it now.
Scarlett. Claire. Cricket. The Alien Horde.
The paperbacks I read while I was in country.
They were written by the enemy.
If I had been a soothsayer
I could have figured it out before now.
Peace is what they want.
A total disruption of the grid.
We called in air support.
Termination.
I was fully examined when I out processed.
They left a marker in me.
I call it a scar.
