The Untold DUP Tribute

poet Anonymous

Congratulations to the winner, runners up and all who participated.

Thank you to all of you who saved this comp from rocky beginnings, and thank you to all of you who still call this place home. I won't be leaving anytime soon. I utterly refuse.

And yes Vee. Meaningful applause and a hat tip for Craic. It's the right thing to do.

You're very welcome one and all.

Glad to have been instrumental in steering this comp away from the negative path it was embarking upon before I entered.

Congrats to the winners and participants with their surviving "positive tributes" to "actual members".

Good. Because no one wants to see you or anyone else leave.

Johnny, thank you for the tribute verse. It was humbling.  And for steering the comp back toward the true definition of tribute.

There were great deal of gratitude/tribute in original posts which you seemed to have an issue with. I'm sorry you failed to read the references and metaphors because teachers can come in all shapes and forms, good and bad, we all learn from them, thus the gratitude ;)

...and again we have folks trying to steal glory (like a troll) from simple moments saying thank You....Bad form -Disguise it how You will, but it just ruins a comp-insults its host.
Be proud of Yourselves Guardian and Troll alike.

Apologies Missy!!!

Yes, several tributes were hidden from public view for being negative. The first in order of manifestation was yours at the direction of the Mistress.

You'll live.

One of my tributes to Madame Lavender was likewise hidden at the direction of the Mistress.

I'll live.

I self censored 3 more of my entries to adhere to Missy's only 3 entries per human being rule.

Again, I'll live.

Your negative tributes were likewise hidden.

You'll live.

Now the real facts are out.

Moving on.

Johnny i know you're on a mission at the moment to prove your comprehensive reading/critiquing ability but i hate to point out how wrong you are in assessing that my first tribute was about the Webmiss, its so far removed from the reality of it that its actually quite laughable that you read it as such and I'm guessing you translated your understanding of it to your buddy Av hence the whole thing got out of proportion.

First, there was no "you", only "us".

The comp was allowed to FULLY stand in its original state until the Hostess herself reported several of the posts as spam. After review by the Guardians (including Mistress), it was deemed just to remove ALL posts that were "snide in nature" and obvious "trolling" vs only a few.

The ones that were removed were the ones the Guardians (including Mistress) agreed should be.

There's nothing to see here folks. Move on.

I didn't say your 1st tribute was about the Webmiss.

I said it was hidden at the Webmiss's direction.

Hope that clears up your confusion.
