Realization

 
In the weeping time be grateful
for pain infused with the waking soul
to bring to life
one in slumber

learning humility and how to receive
the seeking soul learns to believe
something greater than itself

A fire lit under the pupil to lift up
not to condemn but to teach
Sorrow a beautiful epiphany
bringing to fruition
Wisdom's vision for the student
under direction

Rebellious ways cause to falter
struggling with the yoke to alter
to walk to the beat of a different drummer

Taking time to be grateful
for correction even when it is painful
my life not my own to boast

I fall from my arrogance
to realize I have lived in err
to come face to face
with a force not to be trifled with

our Heavenly Father
