She Came as a Weird Fresh Chemical Apparation    (FILLER)

She came as a weird fresh chemical apparition,
A smooth methane trance in the silver sea of moonlight.

At first she was the tree,
And then she came as arms and limbs
Holding the leaves in mysterious ways,
Like an ancient folk-goddess
I might have read about somewhere before.

She came as half the tree,
In features smooth eroded,
Fibres beyond recognition,
She was both captured and free.

But then her animal corroded
Back to a cold cemented remain.

I let go.
The world stopped for a second
When I almost saw your real breasts.

I won’t know what to do with you.
I’ve been in the woods too long.
In isolation I find comfort in hallucination.

There’s an acceptable point of isolation in everyone.

I’m a boy from the east
Seeking the land of endless days,
Either a woman or the beast
Will change my odd ways,
Or bring back the old haze
Which lead me from His rays.
