Intimacy
It's not always found
between the sheets;
it may not even be with
whom you'd expect
A tiny crack in the interior,
and a little glimpse
appears
And you are recognized
You could be on a work break;
fading into sleep
But you have that awareness
that you are cared for
And it is soothing
And you like who you are
just a little more.

Pulse
keeping in steady rhythm with the day
the energies wash over me and I awake
pulses of light interact with my soul
stirring it with information
guided by the earth's elements themselves
a positive reaction will return in kind
the earth responds to the vibrations I send out
if I'm having a bad day she knows
my negative energies will be corrected
by continuing to get a response from people and nature
soon realizing my error
my anxiety builds I feel for my touchstone
beautiful enegy is returned to me and I calm
the world...

Lit Candle
I held a candle lit
For you to follow
You came close in fear of it
Scared to reveal what’s in the shadow
You ran to the light
Blew it out
Diminishing the spark
No one can see who you are
In the dark
You shed lonely tears
Not wanting to be held
Condemning all who want to hold you
Sending them to hell
Striking a match to light the wick
See all the tears shed behind it
The light that is held is an illusion you know
No one can be this good not even the white is...
For you to follow
You came close in fear of it

White Waters
The thrill of the journey is an adventure with no destination
An expedition on the wild river uncharted
Meandering in a steady rush
Through the breeze and forest trees
Into the calmness of still water
And sunshine
Awaiting
Beneath skies of azure
And
Puffy white clouds
Of daydreams
Turning into night dreams
In the fantastic canopy
Of dreamy twlight hues
Dimming slow
As the moon, planets
and stars begin to glow
“Life itself is beautiful, you just have to live it in order to be happy.”

know YOU sometimes
think of yourself as over
the hill; the wrinkles and
and unwanted bulges in
your body causes you to
think and utter words of
self-rejection...you "hate mirrors."

the zones of middle age or older
you have retained the amazing
twinkle in your eyes; the suggestive
smile on your face and glow of
your desirable and kissable lips.

have been blessed with wisdom to
accompany your beauty; your passion
is overflowing with a fire that can only
grow hotter with age and being...

And so you chose to land,
uncertain whether you'd be greeted
with softness or cruelty,
landing light
on the backside of my hand

Purrs and Snores
Deep into the night,
there they are,
side by side
on the mattress.
The cat purrs
a miniature thunder.
The husband snores
a coral of immensity.
The sound dispute
is pure beauty.
The feline, master
of the vibrant whisper,
with its "purr-purr"
packs light dreams.
The husband, tenor
from the incessant snoring.
Their symphony
is music to the heavens.
The cat says,
with an air of superiority:
"My snoring is art,
a heavenly sound."
The husband retorts, ...

Hope can be elusive.
Ducking and hiding
when we hallucinate.
Hope is there though!

when there’s clarity.

Oh God,
I am so grateful
To wake up with the sun
And put away still soapy dishes
Burn my tongue on
