A Touch of Spring
There's the soft lift of blue that carries the song of birds to touch the clouds
And green
The world's turned green again
From raggedy lawn
Growing free before the first cutting
Yearning in the sun
Softly rippling
As the cool of the breeze
Wends its way
In that peculiar cool to the warmth of the day
Like the last fading echoes of winter forgot
In the lavender and dogwoods
Pink and white which are scattered
Among the green of leaves and buds
Of trees in varied shades of green
For today is awake to things
Like life...
And green
The world's turned green again
From raggedy lawn
Growing free before the first cutting
Yearning in the sun
Softly rippling
As the cool of the breeze
Wends its way
In that peculiar cool to the warmth of the day
Like the last fading echoes of winter forgot
In the lavender and dogwoods
Pink and white which are scattered

Aromatize
Shrivel and plummet, leaf and frond,
beneath the charging clouds that blow
through the cerulean cold beyond
the broken nimbostratus glow...
splitting the wanton solar ray
to multitudinous pallid shades
harnessing nature's neutral gray
for autumn glory promenades
in conference with the conifer
and its windfall eau de cologne
in all the places it will occur
from needles to the lonely cone
or the broadleaf equivalent
from the vine maple, or the oak,
where...

Winter Communion
stillness imbues struggle
on cold, dark mornings;
the moon rubs her face
along snowy night’s
velvet blanket;
lithe fingers of pure light
sprinkling diamonds only seen
in the reflection of her smile
careful steps carry me
from the small house
to the lone tree ruling
its tiny front yard kingdom,
gated to protect
a most meager claim ~
reminiscent of days
when we were all satisfied
with far less space
from one another;
a rubbery crunching
beneath winter boots ...
on cold, dark mornings;
the moon rubs her face
along snowy night’s
velvet blanket;
lithe fingers of pure light
sprinkling diamonds only seen

careful steps carry me

Shin-rin Yoku Too!
Sun bathing
One tends to get a nice tan
To much sun
One goes lobster!
Shin-rin Yoku (tree bathing)
I spent to long under the leaves
And turned green!
this experience
Left me feeling jaded!
