Another Dream
The shadows are true to the sun.
Across the lawn they sway long.
Dancing in the cold wind white fluffy clouds push across the sky.
The burning bushes along the fence line shiver in the wind.
They have no fire in their branches, for their branches are bare.
I thought I heard Moses say something but it was just the house
expanding and contracting in the cold howl of the winter winds.
I am fading into wonderland leaving the present behind.
My dreams take me in and transport me to another existence.

Two Cats
In the soft glow of evening
two cats lie together.
Their breaths steady
tails gently twitching in dreams.
Their whiskers quiver,
paws knead the air,
murmurs of sleep talk
escape their parted lips.
One purrs deeply,
a sound like distant thunder.
The other replies,
a softer rhythmic hum.
Their bodies rise and fall
with each contented sigh,
In this tranquil moment
all is almost quiet and serene.
You watch over them,
heart swelling with love,
Each sound, each movement, ...

Until We Fall Asleep
driving up Mountain Highway
on a sunny afternoon
flowing along with the traffic
listening to a tune
bluetoothed to car audio
from my Samsung phone
melodies recorded
late at night at home -
not a cloud in the sky
not a wisp nor a haze
everything is under a blue
dome...with the Sun's rays
stimulating everything
touched through endless space
by the electricity
powering all we face -
driving up Mountain Highway

contemplating the oneness
of Sun, the Earth and...

I lay alone, tired.
I close my eyes,
but still see
staring into darkness
with closed eyes.
I see the quiet door,
and it calls me.
All I need...

through the darkness of my mind,
and find peace
until the morning

Shooting Zzzzzzzzz
All our senses vanish
when descending into sleep
and we follow oh so blindly
without a bloody peep.
Zzzzzzzzzzz
In sleep we are no more.
Zzzzzzzzzzz
We can't and we don't exist without senses
without our sense of self
we're nothing but
a plaything of the gods
or a carcass for the night vultures.

Beautiful Nightmare
Terrible Dreams,
as you fall asleep,
Slumber is waiting,
as you go in deep.
A good night's rest
is what you shall seek,
No noise or sounds,
Not even a peep.
So, You close your eyes,
As you close them tight,
To catch some zzz's all
through the darkened night.
A Beautiful Nightmare
is what you see,
It so very vivid it's
hard not to Believe.
What's before you,
it seems so real,
It is so miraculous
You can't help how you Feel.
A Dream that is Delighting, and ...

but where is it
when pain had seeped in
..in the continuous mumblings
of immobilised desperations
those indistinct murmurs
pitch a sudden high
as unbelievably
peaking lucidities
glowering as angered
red sparking embers
in their many pointed shout outs
of a deadening pace.. wrapped
up shockingly.. with low
alternating troughs.. of
as if an enacted thorough
begging.. with some
quick silvered dark twist
of frightening frustrations, in
a busted...
..
but where is it

Last night I could not sleep
