heat has left the building and my work-break
tea has long been smuggled down my neck
thought i had lost the rest of me somewhere
that all and everything was worth an ear
but her voice in staccato is dotting around
celebrity court, some colleague drama, and
an ambling quest for hubby's fast track passport
in a world where bureaucracy has slowed
to that sneak my chameleon used to do
whilst trying
to look like

the infancy of TV in Norway
The infancy of TV in Norway
He came home early to see the news
on TV. After the news weather forecast
Then a bit of entertainment
a lady played the guitar and sang badly
end of TV for that day.
He cycled down to the nearest pub
they closed at eleven, the town only had 3
Uphill was more difficult.
On Sunday. the Tv was more lively
mass, sport and the Flint Stones.
Monday evening, film night, often
a dreary Polish film. Good night!!!

RUSSIA WILL END THE WAR WITH UKRAINE !!
Good News:
Russia will withdraw its army from Ukraine !!
By the end of this month(MAY !!)
But its all a trick.
The Kremlin will be repeating what it did in 1956.
During the HUNGARIAN REVOLUTION the Kremlin withdrew its tanks from Hungary to impress the Hungarian freedom fighters. First, I need to explain what the Hungarian Revolution was. It was a few men with rifles on top of tall buildings sniping at several Russians on the streets below.
(Russian troops were occupying Hungary ever since the end of WW2 in 1945.
By 1956 the occupation had been going on...

The Vessel
It was then that as the battle was raging on
A strange ship appeared above in the skies
And as all eyes turned upward the fighting stopped
Long enough to be mesmerized by it’s giant sails
A soldier from the north side of no man’s land
Fired a canon round toward the massive vessel
But it seemed that the hull’s shiny chrome and steel
Absorbed the shell as it descended slowly
In fear, both sides turned their fire on the craft
A fury of hell bombarded until smoke blinded them
But still, the ship, without making a sound
Landed...

Freethought
Here’s is to the freethinkers of the past
Who risked it all when they shared their point of view
For the many who took a chance
As their perspectives gave many a break through
And for those who lost so much in their time
Their heroic sacrifice may have been a necessary one
For the masses then took notice of their work
Building on their foundational ideas in the long run
Here’s to those who those who use logic and reason
For using common sense and having genuine inspiration
Their work encouraged others to seek out their freedoms ...

Nothingness
I really am all about
nothing…
still willing to confess
my adoration of nothingness
In the words I cannot say
the lines I will not choose
how I so love to lose
all of me in expanding vacuity
Spindles of purifying rhyme
accompany the dull chime
of a relativistic clock
ticking ever slower
Leading me to now see
a quantum reality
ever so discrete
with all of its secrets
Uncertain as a matter of principle
I chase each fugitive quark...

Entropic
What is the proper order
for disorder…
can entropic laws be broken
with the right poetry spoken
While dissecting our lives
with dull scalpel knives
one slice at a time
to excise all the rhyme
Lay it out on the table
add it to the unending fable
of all of our science
our intellectual defiance
As the universe unwinds
removes all the blinds
that keep us unenlightened
here forever frightened
By such a tangle of knots
stuck as the ink then clots
before spilling all on the page ...

Time bends but does not break
leaving us all in its wake
never quite the same
yet trying to play the same game
Each dilation an invitation
to the big dance…
a quantum mechanical game of chance
where the winner never really knows
How temporality still flows
like an eternal river
but just a mere sliver
of all there is to be
Drifting again out to sea
in a pea green boat
never designed to float
but only to contract
Or to be more exact
become ever...
leaving us all in its wake
never quite the same
