No Church Bells
We need to talk
Why do I feel my chest tighten or, like every nerve ending is firing at once
We need to talk
Nothing ever goes well with those types of words
I know what I told you
I should stop this. I know exactly where it's going, and my heart is slowly ripping apart.
I told you everything was over with me and her, but I also told you I would try to make it work.
Why is he still talking? I got it. I'm gone
I would like if we could still be friends
He would like it if we could...

Silence, Alone In The Garden
Two Years Earlier, Lucy
Early hours of the morning. She was still in the hut in the Remembrance Garden, part of the way through a cigarette. Forbidden to smoke there, but she continued, regardless of the rules. The Remembrance Garden belonged to her and to her late parents.
Before the fire, a lawn had stood here, surrounded by rose bushes. Back then, she'd often lingered a short distance away, paralysed by shyness as she'd watched the other kids from the School, wishing she could join them, aware that she was different, the daughter of the vice-principal there. Not a...

Reaching
Summer moon shines on the willow's sleeves
clinging to the solstice drawing into dusk
Silently, listening to the falling pollen
my tears longing for imaginable dreams
Reaching in grief for the abandoned reef
clinging to the solstice drawing into dusk
Silently, listening to the falling pollen
my tears longing for imaginable dreams
Reaching in grief for the abandoned reef

Sky
From the deep dark chambers of my heart.
A haunting yet familiar melody does depart.
A somber song of raw sadness.
A melancholy reflection of the madness.
Cornflower blue sky.
Cloud country a mile wide.
A soft cotton gauze of skyward dreams.
For as far as the eyesight will believe.
That sky saved me.
From a now distant melody.
Light streams in those chambers
A survival of hope's embers.
Peace is a soundless force, to soothe
A resurrected heart from
that sky's boundless source.
A haunting yet familiar melody does depart.
A somber song of raw sadness.
A melancholy reflection of the madness.
Cornflower blue sky.
Cloud country a mile wide.
A soft cotton gauze of skyward dreams.
For as far as the eyesight will believe.

Light streams in those chambers
A survival of hope's embers.
Peace is a soundless force, to soothe
A resurrected heart from
that sky's boundless source.
