sits upon a bible
the King James version i believe
with a pale yellow post-it note
stuck near the bottom
with a message written in script
that says..
'God help those that help themselves'
Destiny's last words
unspoken
...and here she left me
in this emotional abyss
where all hope is devoured
a place where
lethargy is king
supplanting she
who i once regarded as queen
she
who tried to redeem me
uplift me from my lack-luster...

Quake in Aleppo
The ground shook
And the earth stood up
Wihile the world watched
But no help will come to Aleppo
Cause a tyrant rules
With his russian fools
No help comes to Aleppo
As history crumbles
A land steeped in history
People in misery
Propped up leader assad
Is a puppet of Putin
2 year old boy buried in rubble
But he’s not saved by rubles
Or by Wagner ruthlessly
Killing the innocent’s
Puppet can’t protect his citizens
Propped up by thugs and thieves ...
