secreting my blues infused with fire within my sacredness
With tears unwept and sadness misunderstood, my soul yearns
Inside the eternal storm, I seek sanctuary
Lying my bones in the sun, white from sunlight
My thoughts sharpen them
sewing dreams out of feelings
where I interpret them later
So much grief within my hollow spaces
It leaves me off balance
Loneliness comforts me
empty of thought, I am an outcast
stricken with great anxieties
Sigh, to connect with humanity, I try
But so often I am too needy

Disappearing memories
They're the enemies of the mind
Trapped in the memory spectrum
No escape can I find
I'm always returning from the same old journeys
Every time they manage to break me
They steal my every heartbeat
Pain, anger, fear, a medley
Memory of them so bitter, so sweet
Every night the pictures I see
A painful tear never meant to be
Is only a memory of loss to me

Curtain Call
As the lights grow dim
And the curtain comes down
We are vagabond wordsmiths
Looking for somewhere to lay our words
Just by serendipity I stumbled upon a magic place
It felt like Home where we could express freely
Our hidden fears and desires and all in between
A place to be nurtured by like souls completely
It felt like paradise on earth to me
But even the best things go away sadly
I feel like I lost a crucial part of me
And the curtain comes down

I think of you often
for all the wrong reasons
and maybe a couple of right ones
the right ones that you discarded
because they felt insincere
have never stopped haunting me
if my obsession wasn't obvious
my affections should have at least
been spared your anxious pruning
the mortal fear of believing love
could bloom in the dankest of crevices
that, years of friendship could outlive
