To the life I never lived
To the life I never lived
The dreams I buried deep within
The paths I shunned away
The choices I couldn't keep
The secrets I had to keep
And the lie I had to live.
The love I have sacrificed
The hope I have chastised
The joy I never tasted
In pain, I paid the price
The words I swallowed down
The songs I silenced out
The jokes I hid behind a frown
The words that never fell from my mouth
In silence I wore the crown.
To the life I never lived
The chances I let go
The risks I was too...

The Long Dance from Midnight
the mountains was young as the pristine earth
in ancient times' sepia lights lustily glow
Shamans chants their songs with nature
each breath of air waking the spirits, flowed
the rhythm of gongs mesmerising
the dance of the Shamans enchanting
the shrieked answers from the mountains bone chilling
nature's spirit sings out in eerie voices
the spirits coalesced with the Shamans
a painful grouping of the supernatural
with the natural scrapping flesh to bones
as barbed wire wrapped around the mortal coil
and then they...

Sacrifice
you can say whatever you want
I'll sell my soul to the devil
if only to protect the broken
maybe that makes me evil
using his power
but I ain't dumb
I know I'll burn up
when it's all said and done
but with each flame
is a life I'll save
picture me with a smile on my face
just know it cost me everything
I can be your hero
I can be your savior
I can hold up the world
I can get the girl
I can also be your sacrifice
the one to blame for all your pain
hurling insults my way
just know it cost me...

No man’s land
She dreamt of a love pure as the driven snow . Unblemished. It isn’t though . Love is messy it hurts at times and it hides behind pride . It lacks compassion and words and lies . Not in the beginning but give it time . The believer becomes the atheist for ever more and it can never open up like before . Once your trust has been tested beyond all sane comprehension, I have cancer he said to cover up an affair with a baby on the way. Pain sets up home . It’s a form of personal protection . It is though the end of the line . A destructive destination . She stands on no man’s land ....
