IMPOTENCY OF LIES
TRUTH
I've never forgotten
the lessons I learned from
the Dharma taught by
Tibetan Buddist priests
in my quest for enlightenment
and reality.
I've recently been resurrecting
and meditating on a principle
related to Yin-Yang, the power
and role of opposites:
There is light and darkness,
Day and night,
Good and evil.
Truth and lies.
Etched in my cranium
are the words from a
teacher:
"A lie has never liberated
anyone, it may make it seem
to be so for a moment, but
in the end, will be...

I saw them once, at first light
glistening upon water --
drifting aimlessly, shooting ducks
ignorant of slaughter --
Their light-force dwindling rapidly;
I wanted to warn them, Run! --
Sunrise will assimilate you!
But, my heart held back words
They appeared content, trusting fate;
I could do no more than watch --
suddenly realizing Death
is full payment for Life
What was it I wished for
( while ignorant of sorrow )
as they plummeted...

unconditionally yours
in desolation, I weep inside
all my love for you
there couldn't; be another
it matters not how dark you are
I will still reach up and choose the same star
within my memories, I hold true
I'm not giving up on you
you listen to all my complaints
tears come only for you
don't say goodbye
you've done your best with my mind
listening to internal chatter must drain you

Poetic Rebirth
i love the fields that stretch to where the eye fades
and the thick remote forest that gives emerald shades
with oaken branches, and wild hard fruit, heavily laden
where the wolf hides, and shepherds watch over the herds
i am at home,when i roam the flat green wheat fields
sizzling locusts make them ripe, while the sun gilds
and they stretch to horizon line, like a green carpet
that sways to every winds breathing, smooth like velvet
fair and meek is the wind of the hilly rocky mountains
where i haunt the place, homely...

Serengeti Love
We raced as wilderbeast in our quest for life or death
Captures captivated, minute seizures resulting in death
With a poisonous taste on our tongue that so many had left
We prayed for both the crocodile's dying and for their health
Muddied are the streams of life as they are flooding
The deterring detergents of existence are pulsing and white water blooding
Get with the pain I need it savagely sharp and intense
I need to feed from the destruction, I need the piles immense
Please interweave bodies with disease, mud packed with hated seed ...

Heaven help them...they knew not what they did,
In capitulation to brutality
By weapon systems in big business bid
And armed for global catastrophe!
There were rules in place which all had known
Yet ill will nevertheless persisted

dark thoughts rot mine soul
That which I kept inside
has made its way out
that which was hid
among mine seven deadly sins

In the midnight sun of the necromancer
vivianite bones
Old and decrepit
darken green blue & black,
