Secrets - Confrontation (1)
The sky's darkening, urging me to turn back.
The contact's not answering his phone.
He and I have an agreement: I must stay out of sight and not approach his home.
But I've driven all this way.
Now what?
Go home, I hear you whisper.
***
Good idea.
I resume my journey.
Long shot, but I'm prepared to take a chance.
It started in one place. And I believe it will end in that same place.
Whaley Hill, in particular the reservoir at the top.

mysterious lady (in black leather)
her pale
face
standing
out,
displayed
in that
black
leather
outfit
she wore,
her painted
crimson
lips
becoming
the only
other feature
i saw,,
speaking
with
demanding
tones,
her hands
holding
a riding
crop,
cuffs and
toys nearby,
i think
we both
know how
this
evening
will go.

Secrets - They Say I Fled
They say a group of teenagers saw me on the field that August Bank Holiday Monday.
One called over, asked if I was all right. I didn't answer, apparently. Just continued stumbling in the direction of home, sweat dripping from my face. The teenagers didn't hang around. They assumed I had sunstroke. If I had seen myself, I would have probably thought the same.
Others noticed me wandering along the main road towards the estate where we lived. Drinkers in the pub watched me stagger like a drunk. I continued walking. Up the hill, through a ginnel, past the church....

The Cat In The Flat
Wearing a hat
Within my modest flat
I accidently sat
On the cat
On the mat
The cat
Went scat
But fortunately not splat
Was nonetheless feeling flat
Asnd that
Was the end of that!

If I try to be anything at all
Palate cleansed and ready to fall
Par the course-produced pliancy
Hard-stopped inattentive truancy
Undelivered love letters left unread
And a technical error to disconnect
Two or three odd ventriloquists
Speaking to me through a single kiss
Palate cleansed and ready to fall
Par the course-produced pliancy
Hard-stopped inattentive truancy

vista
tar-niched computation,
a sigil lost in breeze
perpendicular to axes
and futile clarity;
the intra-net is full of daemons
we chant we chant we chase
an inorganic time-kept secret:
a shadow with no face
under green glow within the watch of tiny tiny eyes
the cables snake and process: tenderized
a mother-bored 2deaf shall initialize
a startup scream still bright and new
internal disks store what to do
instruction set x86
intact bliss-fool ignorance

Silent - Warehouse On Fire
The Present, Lucy
She walks, or rather hobbles, across a path as fast as she can – difficult after a day or so lying in a dark room. She has to keep stopping and starting, ready to pass out from exhaustion. Eventually, she comes to a car parked behind a high, abandoned wall and waits outside, trembling. Her hands are tied, so she can't get into the vehicle. What's happening? Does Katie know this man? Was Katie involved in the fire too? Terence?
Katie Whittaker returns. 'Jace phoned me in a panic and Pete and Scott told me everything. Come on, Lucy, I'm taking you...

fall leaves return
begging for mercy
winter pays
little heed
like an agnostics
prayer
empty of substance
but seeking answers
much like water
frozen on the surface
but raging in
it's underflow

Drugs & babies don't mix
After a late night of partying
This one girl brings another girl and a guy back to her apartment
The girl wants to be kinky & have sex in her baby's crib
The girl forgot to have a babysitter watch the child when she went out
Their all high on meth
The ignorance & stupidity of this entire ordeal was that the 6 month old baby was still in the crib
The next morning the baby was dead
Apparently the baby was smothered to death
They all served time
The mother though was sentenced to life in prison
She had no remorse
She told family...
