I am fragile
And I tend to break

Broken bonds and trampled trust
I took the bait and fell into the trap

Faded flames haunt my memories
A summer rain that brings reprieve
From the scorching earth heat
Yet their stay never lingers
Only the cool comfort
Of that beautiful time and place

Why bother?
It's simpler to just stay here, stay put. nothing ever happens the way you want it to in life. there are always some elements that interfere with the intentions you've shared with the aether. you've been told many a great things about how rewarding overcoming the challenges can be and such, but in the end you've been had. forced to conform to the normalcy, the inadequacy, of the circumstances unfolding before you. a stronger infusion of the tea of opportunity, forgetting that opportunity was the prize and instead becoming merely a tribute to what you truly wanted. If I'd been there..
I hope you know I’m thinking of you,
while you lie in that cold, fluorescent haze,
counting the cracks in the ceiling,
listening to the hum of a world
that keeps moving without you.
I know how it feels.
I know how the walls whisper
like they want to keep you forever.
I know how the silence
can be louder than the screams
that got you there in the first place.
I’ve been there too.
More times than I care to count.
I know the weight of a locked door,
the way time slows down
until it feels like you’re drowning in days...
while you lie in that cold, fluorescent haze,

Where'd you go 17
Living life at the edge
Stuck between kid and adult
Abyss looming as we teeter on the ledge
With the world in our hands
And fire in our eyes
We didn't care about apathy
As long as we got high on Friday night
Our minds spun on donut rides
In a gravel parking lot
Copping beers from the store
Hoping we didn't get caught
Speeding fast with windows down
Wind blowing through our hair
Meeting up with friends in town
Without worry or care
Come back 17
I'm lost in this...

Like a pale corpse

A beast of burden

Discombobulated Heart
When I did not know no pain.
Life looked rosy, the future the same.
Now my heart is discombobulated.
Esp when someone Mentions your name.
Pain returns again & again.
Future looks bleak, black dog like!
Time slows to a trickle.
As light fades away.
I need space of time & distance.
Patience calm & confidence.
Till time speeds up again.
Times I've seen you.
Listened to your say.

As to what was actually said.

TIME
After making her fall to her knees
Ignoring her just coz you could
It doesn’t feel very nice it slowly
cuts her up . Her self esteem is
dissected just because she felt
to much . Now after her heart
ended up in her feet and her
mind had jogged round the block
a few times chasing dreams and
the elusive why? . She ended up
exhausted and now she has the
energy for only thinking about
herself . Your name fading
amongst the pain and your face
a shadow she can’t see your eyes
anymore. With suffering comes...

No Way Out
I’ve been screaming at the glass all night,
But it only stares, it never fights.
Who am I? What have I become?
A shadow left of someone numb.
I reach, I claw, I beg, I burn—
But you just twist, you never turn.
If I break the glass, will I feel the pain?
Or am I nothing, just a stain?
Tear me down, I’m begging you,
Show me the truth I never knew.
Am I the curse? Am I the sin?
Or just the cage I’m trapped within?
I’m falling fast, there’s no way out—
Tear me down, erase the doubt.
I can’t stand this endless...
But it only stares, it never fights.

I see you there, in the glass again,
Eyes like strangers, don’t know where you’ve been.
You don’t look at me; you just look through—
Who the hell am I talking to?
I try to smile, but it’s out of place,

It's time to revaluate
They say that as we get older we are supposed, to become more wiser to have learned, right from wrong. 🤔 But yet we continue, to make the same old habits become the norm, then asking ourselves what am I doing wrong. 🤨 WHY can't I find myself again within thyself the person, that I was before I changed from them to now. 🤔 Just wanting something better for my life, yet I'm still living in confusion and drama and chaos, 😮 putting my self esteem in a place that has been proven, it's not a mind game but it's I who keeps getting in the same old situations.
