I May Be That Girl
I may be that disabled girl who's so sick she cannot work a normal job, but she's the artist that will save so many lives. She's the artist who knows that her art will heal herself in a way a normal job can't.
I may be that girl who was rarely ever chosen, rarely ever picked, but I know now that I will let love find me. I need many years alone. But I'm a caring individual who won't beg for love; I will things happen the way they're supposed to.
I may be that girl who thinks she'll off herself if things get too hard, but I'm going to try anyway and do this artist thing....

Gettin better
Every minute
Try to hold it together
But I lose it better
Bathing in Jesus sins
But he knows me
Better than myself
So I fall again
Feelin bible in my blood
Hoping it is enough
But when I hope it’s not enough
Cause I just have to believe
And I do like Jesus
Believe in every being
When belief is in your bloodstream
Absolves me of all my sins
Belief is something
You can’t grab onto

Finland is the whitest country in the world
I read and according to the article in
the Sunday paper, happy in their whiteness
People in Scandinavia tend to be pale-faced
Sweden too, was white and still is, but lately
people from Muslim countries have muscled
in and disturbed the cohesion, which leaves
many a Swede worried about the future and
Greta Thunberg, will she convert and use
a face veil? I think not, she fills out her jeans
looks like a woman, although of small stature

for teeth
a couple had winning smiles
I thought they must be American
thinking of Joe Biden's
dentures, make him look like
an elderly shark
Cesar Milan, the dog man
is a showman but appears
to be good at taming dogs
his gnashers are impressive

had left in protest
I went to a dentist, asked for
new teeth so I could display

Angels Unaware
I received a text from a family member today out of nowhere, they wanted me to know I had been on their mind for the last week and that they were praying for me.
When I opened the text and read, I started bawling like a baby.
I never see this person, we don't talk on a regular basis, but yet I believe God influenced their heart to pray for me, the family member unaware of what kind of couple weeks I've been dealing with, but obedient to the drawing of his own convictions and heart.
That my friend is the Love of God, and family.
That is a prime example of why keeping faith...

Tears of Life
All my life, I have been treated like a psychopath. An irredeemable person who deserved nothing good.
And I wonder why...I still have these tears of life. Why it seems I still care.
My teacher at 16 told me how much I didn't care about my father when he died.
I had nothing left of myself.
Then, when I fell hard for a boy, it was after that I realized I could feel all along.
And I did. I did have a heart.

When Wolves Sing

The wolves have come back
they always come back
scratching at the door
howls echoing deep within
something feral responding in need
I have always known
I am not alone
my whole life listening
to the music of their songs
and for a short time
until their voices fall still
I am free
The wolves have come back
singing in harmony
my guts twisting with need
puking undigested the breeding of me
set me free!
