Kiss
You kissed the place
of my child’s belonging.
I kissed the tool you'd
use in planting.
Then I placed you there.
of my child’s belonging.
I kissed the tool you'd
use in planting.
Then I placed you there.

The love he had for them was real
It wasn't as bad as all that
I mean he helped her have the kid
It wasn't as if he just left her in the street to have the damn thing by herself
I mean, what the fuck, he was into that bitch
It's not his fault she died while dropping the frog
When she started screaming, he didn't tell the bitch to shut the fuck up
I mean, you guys are trying to make it look like he was the bad guy here
I think he was alright
I would have to her to go fuck herself, but you know me,
I'm different then most people
I hate everyone, man
He didn't want to scare...

Email to David about My Baby Shower
Hi David,
I hope this email finds you well. First, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing financial support during this time. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me, and I truly appreciate it.
Regarding your earlier email about Susan, I haven't seen her in several weeks. I’ll check on her and see if we can visit again. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help heal your relationship with her. I understand it might seem absurd after everything we've been through, but if there's a chance to mend things and make both of you happier,...

Journal Entry at 28 Weeks
April 3, 2024
Well, here I am, 28 weeks into this pregnancy journey. And let me tell you, one thing that's really caught me off guard is my sex drive. It's not dwindling like I thought it would—it's actually cranking up. Joseph's noticed it too, and he's pretty happy about it, to say the least.
But here's the kicker: it's not just about Joseph. Lately, I've found myself feeling even more drawn to other men, especially those who already have families of their own. It's weird, and honestly, it's a bit confusing. But it's definitely happening.
I guess pregnancy...

Lust for Life
Two single cells answered the call of all human animals.
I’ve carried you in some form, my daughter, for 32 weeks and
you’ve begun to make yourself known.
What began in the most wholesome of human desires
now reveals itself in your lust for life. Do you feel the
embrace of my lover this night? Where there was one
human soul, there are now three sharing one flesh.

Grocery Shopping
I’m hosting a new life within me and so it surprises me when men look approvingly at my swollen shape. This happened on Saturday while I was at the grocery store.
As I strolled down the aisle of the grocery store, I noticed a man eyeing me intently. His gaze lingered a little longer than usual, and I could feel his admiration from across the produce section.
I felt him coming closer and he said, "Excuse me, miss. I hope you don't mind me saying, but you look absolutely radiant."

Words Becoming Flesh
March 18, 2024
His words still echo in the corners of my mind, "You are beautiful." Each syllable reverberated, causing a flutter in my heart. I knew he was married but his touch left me breathless. Surrendering to his embrace felt like falling into a dream where time ceased to exist and only our flesh was real.
Our betrayal of his wife and child was marked by the miracle of life blooming within me. I carry his essence, a tiny seed of new life taking root, growing with each passing day.
But what of her, this precious soul nestled within my womb? Will...

Letter of Thanks to David
Dear David,
I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for your ongoing support throughout my pregnancy. Your generous financial contributions have made a significant difference and have alleviated so much of the stress that comes with preparing for the arrival of our baby.
While I understand that our relationship had unintended consequences, I am genuinely thankful for the memories we share, particularly of that fateful night. I do regret the strain it placed on your marriage, and I hope that with time, wounds will heal.
On a brighter note, I am incredibly...

Another Origami Butterfly
I saw my little friend at the park again today.
She gave me another origami butterfly and,
looking back to her mother, said,
“Baby on board.” We all smiled.
When Joseph came home for lunch,
I showed him the butterfly and we folded
into one another for a little mid-day release.
When Joseph kissed my stomach,
I thought of that little girl, and
wondered what her life would become.

Please Rest Dear Child
When I feel her kicking in my tummy,
I’m thankful for our common creatureliness.
I too kick and squirm when held too tightly.
Please rest dear child.
There will be time enough for
roaming freely in this beautiful world.

Please rest dear child.
