Toy Girl
Dancing with death within
An unsweetened serenade
Bitter sweet
Nothing sweet at all
Just sadness, fear, and betrayal
And a sickness
That churns inside
Am i worth so little
Is anyone
So worthless
As to be treated as a toy

Grey
Childhood bliss,
Hiding under blankets
In a dark night
Soon the covers would be taken
Just for spite.
Unknown to hate,
A small sprout
Sheltered by trees
I miss those days when we'd run around
as we pleased.
Childhood was forgiving,
Childhood was free.
Childhood was less than rent now for me.
Now it's all different
What colors?
They refract and bend.
It seems this harsh reality won't end.
What once was radiant,
is now grey
And the children are filled with dismay
Because that's...

I'd love to know, I really would,
how we might real time chart
the current popularity of a word.
Then correlate that data
with an online national database
of psychological definitions...
all to determine where OUR..."culture"
is heading with its intent.
Sure, we INDIDVIDUALY extrapolate
what we can...
from a whirlwind of headlines
that now have me believing...
that we are a nation of teenage bullies.

8 Guys Pizza
8 guys have more $$$
then the poorest 3.6 Billion people in the world
8 - EIGHT- WOW!!!
Talk about Being Behind The Eight Ball...
Pool-Pizza-No Soup for You
I-me, like many of us poor folk
struggle, worry, pray- To Pay
my bills on time,
get new tires for my car
buy food at Market Basket
and hope I have a little left over.
8 Guys-8 Slices of Pizza...
Maybe next paycheck
I can afford to buy me a new pair of shoes,
a small pepperoni pizza
and a Pespi...No Coke

Your Good Girl
You want to keep me in your pocket,
Away from the sun’s rays,
And the dark shadows.
You want to keep me in a locker
With no holes in the walls,
Where I’m hidden and unseen,
A possession with reins
To control as you wish.
You want to silence my voice,
You want me to live your way,
You want me to be your good girl.
But what about what I want?
Do I have a say in my life?
Away from the sun’s rays,
And the dark shadows.
You want to keep me in a locker
With no holes in the walls,
Where I’m hidden and unseen,
A possession with reins
To control as you wish.
You want to silence my voice,
You want me to live your way,
You want me to be your good girl.

Do I have a say in my life?

Reconsecration
Reconsecration
Glasses stained in Stygian windows
With leopard spot rims for predatory effect
Met with sanguine lipstick heat
Her flaming kiss
Is a nitro-glycerin palliative
For Soho heartaches gone mad
When her Greenwich Village tastes
Like poems on all gallows night
That sing for her last supper
When slumlords hang
A no-vacancy brand of fascism
On the rookery gates to skid row
While the arterial Cathedral
For her sacramental corpuscles
Is reconsecrated to Aphrodite

Taking Over
A new force has risen. The good old days are done
We reinvent this system. A new age has begun
Alliance of disappointed members who have now conjoined
We share the same disgusts. It's time to feel our wrath
We'll knock you out in one breath
It's our turn to converge
The world needs to be cleansed of all the putrid noise
This pursuit that we chase, the fight is our life choice
Our honor should not be mocked. We're justified to protect it
Try and you will get fucked and you shall feel our wrath
We'll take you down in one breath
It's...

Dunkelflaute
Doom laden skies held, not one breath, of wind
Under the achromatic mantle, torpidity binged
No turbine turned, there was no sunlight power
Kismet ordained, to drain, every megawatt hour
Eerie evenings, turned countrysides, into tundra
Lights burned bright, until the blackouts umbra
From the murk, came night and the cloying cold
Listlessly lingering, from the valley, to the wold
And dawn would seep, then creep, into each day
Unfolding itself into the simplicity, of bitter grey
Though time inexorably passed, beneath the veil
Enveloped, by...

The Feminine Stain
When I was a kid
my dad said he could
tell always when
a book was penned
by female hand and mind,
in cases even where
a male pseudonym was used,
and so he’d have to put it down
and pick up something else instead,
a woman’s prose
being too flowery for him.
He was horrified when
I told him at 12
that my favourite author
was Agatha Christie,
but settled a little
when I was 15
and reading Patricia Highsmith,
because she was a lesbian
and therefore of masculine mind,
to his mind.

Beige pigs in long wigs
I hear her and her
cronies snorting
and laughing on
four seaters
so I went over,
leaning against
her chair like
some villain
she expects
us to become
told her i'm joining in
on the conversation,
knowing I overheard
her talking about me
her three friends look
down at the floor as
the train rolls into
London St Pancras
as she continues
to deny discussing
about me soon as
I stepped aboard
this rush hour train,
I repeat word
