Let The Echoes Of Freedom Ring (Part I)
I thought, since I am in Ohio residing in my hotel suite, much later, I will be attending an optional black tie symphonic event to celebrate one of my favorite female R&B artists, an iconess in her own time.
I would blog on site on the rise of the African America race, and going forward under a new administration, will our agendas as a collective race of people, trying to prosper in a post-Jim Crow economy, as well as, earning a perspective place in a socialism, catered and systematic manipulated with those old Willie Lynch stigmatism, however, we have risen, and we...

Mob
dictate the madness
we march in step with the vibrations
hailing from a maelstorm
wicked little itch to appease the demonic need
hexing the night I come in
stop time for a moment
watching it fall heavy on everyone
evil feasts opening it's dark eyes
grievous error thinking to avoid it
into the maw, now mob for the hell of it
rising on the winds I take flight
a witch with you on her mind
Mr. zombie commanding an army
with your ritualistic offerings
an army of dread celebrating life
my humblists...

Backstage - Motley Crue
Welcome, Backstage, I’m Damian DeadLove. Tonights band is: Motley Crue. This band has been the soundtrack to a lot of memories in my life. Was I a fan? At one time I really was a big fan. If you ask me that now, I’d have to say I’m a Mick Mars fan. If you follow?
First off, the band formed in 1981, and this is the original line up: Mick Mars - Guitar, Vince Neil - Vocals, Nikki Sixx - Bass, and Tommy Lee - Drums. But were focusing more on 1992-1994 after Vince Neil has quit the band, or was he fired. Well it depends on who you ask.
Nikki says, “Vince quit.”...

sacred art woven with my soul
the beats take over
and I become one with the music
the tempo drives me
the drum base pounds
twilight bends and I begin
cllimbing guitar riffs
notes relate to me
a melody of freedom
seeking the newness of day
within my heart vow
to make the best of every moment
sweet release in the noise
intoxicating spirit, empowers me
I can do anything
endorphins quick in
as the electicity flows through my brain
the rhythm takes me away
to a place I once knew ...

Krautrock! New music of the future (Part 2)
Most writers, journalists, musicians and fans agree that the post war youth of the 1960’s was politically aware and well educated. Plus, you can hardly ignore the proliferation of hallucinogenic and psychedelic drugs. There was also the influence of pioneering British & American bands and the boom in youth pop culture. For the first time in decades the German people had become a society that was independent and wealthy. All these factors and obviously many more were what lead to a music culture as unheard before.

Krautrock! New music of the future (Part 1)
The music of Germany, since WWII has been something of a rare phenomenon. From a vast nation obsessed with gaining a new image, making a mark for themselves and aiming to try and get away from the ghosts of the past. Such an attitude inevitably led to a youth culture that was inquisitive and yearning for new forms of expression. This uniquely Teutonic spirit had existed on a smaller scale, decades earlier with the new generation of classical composers and also musical innovators like Oskar Sala.

Listening to a long forgotten soul song
In the quiet dawn, thoughts crowd your face in epiphany.
Realizations, like lightning, strike the still morning air.
You stand overwhelmed, a revelation in every breath.
The weight of understanding too much to bear.
In the midst of this flood, you cry and cry and cry and cry.
Tears flowing, a river of emotion unbound.
Each drop a whisper of what once was hidden.
A torrent of truths newly found.
As the storm subsides, you stand in silence.
The epiphany a shadow, the tears a distant shore.
In this quiet aftermath, clarity...

NYC 1963
The studio on 4th Street was the place they needed to be
Hope & determination was in their minds, that they can change society
They were considered the outcasts outside of their community
Songs being created in Greenwich Village that weren't so rare
Strings being strummed by poets, ideas to influence others
It began with Woodie Guthrie and exploded with Bob Dylan
In the evening, the beatniks and the long haired girls came too
Coffee shops heard their words
And when the next day came they took action
The blue collared army

Happy Birthday My Love, My King Of Rock And Roll
I can no longer hear the laughter in your voice
When you closed your eyes, can you feel my sorrow on the wind
Knowing I will not feel your breeze in my midst
From the womb to the cradle, you were a gift unto a mother to love
Bed of earth is now your everlasting solidarity
A storm brewed above
The trumpets played the last tune of your life
Did you dance in the grave as you basked in the awareness
Your name read from the Book of Life
Peace has finally chosen your fate ...

August 31st 2019 (Big Camp)
Five days after performing at Hastings Pride
(My first performance on a stage!)
I was then transported to Lincolnshire
For a fabulous Big Camp
In a field surrounded by other fields
Containing sheep, and turnips!
I'd put myself down on an open mic
I was awaiting my turn
And was to follow a strong man act
Which was pretty impressive
But i was thinking, how does a poet follow that?
Whilst waiting, i went to get myself another cider
When i noticed they had something called mead
Never liked honey, but thought 'when in Rome'

Out of the Bottle
Out of the bottle
Feel a stirring in my soul
Rhythm pulse under blood vessels
It’s been there since I was a tot
First 45 was Mother Mary
Along with Taveres
Heaven’s missing an angel
Dancing through my teens with
Who Doors and Aerosmith
With some Jimi mixed in
A new decade approaches and
It’s the 80’s on the stage
Clashed with The Who and Santana
Down at JFK
Went from Genesis all the way to Peter Gabriel
Call the Police and watch the Go Go’s

HoW YoU WaNt It ToDaY - RAP POETRY
I don’t really vibe with old tunes
Find them tired,
stuck inside closed room
Chasing shadows of a dying old moon
Tired of pretending they’re still shining
Stuck rewinding
That's how You Want it today
Gotta Hall pass , to walk past
recycled tunes that won't last
Old grooves, old moves
I’m creating somethin new,
sparks feel true,
You got me wrong if you think I'm fake it, rather struggle until I make it,
excuse me, while I take it
I’ll break it then make it new ...
