I was born in chaos and peace
I walked to the edge and built a platform
I designed a platform so high that I was able to dine with the divine
I am powerful
I sat on a throne drinking sweet wine with my ancestors
I got hot and lifted a chilled golden Chalice to cool my thirst
My oldest daughter is the best gift from the divine
The tears from my birth pains created a goddess from beyond this universe
I am a capably beautiful and awesomely intelligent woman
I looked at a mirror and cried tears of joy and pain
For a birthday present when he...

Intelligent Design?
How are bullets and babies the same?
See how one might be like the other
In the universal life and death game
Where one is made by nature's mother,
And the other by man is created
For all her domain to endanger
In a process just as automated
As a fallopian baby arranger,
Which like a rifle is a kind of tube,
And tubes are where things can get stuck
As in a round hole by a cube
For a gynecologic cluster fuck...
As bad as when machine guns are jammed,
And both by plans needing re-diagrammed.

Water
After Maria Negroni’s the Baby
Power is in nonviolence, nonresistance.
Water gives, and takes
in the tides without strife,
allowing silent strength to permeate,
take shape in reception.
Build, and break.
I am Water.
When you dig deep you find me.
You will always find me.
Mamma, stand down,
your baby is well.
He is curious, keen and lively;
his desires actualized,
he bathes in our world’s treasures.
His competence leans into your scriptures,
resides blessed among
the many...

Teenage Boys Make Me Sad
I hate this title
It is not the vibe
Sitting here…
Listening to my boys play
Minus the teenage one
He’s off meandering
In his own head space
Ear buds or headphones full on
Hides in his room
Does everything I ask
But I wish he’d do anything else
Other than being so exact
Call me from his hidey room
Ask me life questions
Need me more and more as he gets older
Follow me (you know?)
Like he used to when he was two
like my teenage daughter does
He does his own thing
I guess...

Cry Of An Unborn Child
Hello mommy
It's me you're Unborn Child.
I'm just a tiny someone,
Floating in your tummy,
feeling snug and warm.
When you and daddy made me
You gave me life
You gave me a HEART BEAT
And God gave me a soul.
I'm growing a little bit every day,
And soon I'll get my own fingers and toes.
Once my ears have developed properly,
I'll be able to hear the sound of your voice.
And now you have decided to do the unthinkable,
But why? what did I do wrong?
I didn't ask to come into the world,
Just because you choose...

The Great Replacement Theory And Abortion
Yes, people pull the trigger - but guns are the instrument of death. Gun control is necessary, and delay means more death and horror. Eliot Spitzer
I had the idea to start my Sunday off with writing about a controversial element that has hindered our nation, and that is the debate of pro-life versus pro-choice. In more subtle terms, abortion, however an act of hate has consumed New York, yet once again.
I am stunned regarding the mental breeding of why someone within this day and age who still fosters a new millennium of creating a superior race, that ideology has held...

You still scratch your neck
when your mind wanders
from this moment
playing Call of Duty
with the screen still too close
to your eyes, and in between breaths
you text your girlfriend
‘come for dinner’;
I have never met her.
Downstairs, Dad is making
meat sauce forgetting the garlic
I can smell from the kitchen, and
now warmly encircling us-
I silently urge you to tell him
to add some more onion and
he, too, should know
there will be three
at the table tonight. ...

LOVE MOTHER
I would like to take sometime to reflect on this day of rest and relaxation, and talk about how this piece of liquid gold unfolds. From the many memories so dear to our hearts and minds, yet provoking each of us to look back and remember, for on this day we are both very bless and thankful to our MOTHERS. As we give thanks for the support and encouragement and empowerment, along with the many levels of lessons that we have received, from our MOTHERS over the years of our lives. But yet there are many of us who have lost their mother. During the process of us having to say goodbye in our...

Dear Deer

Pale morning comes upon each face
the countenance of ceramics lined with glaze
suns hidden lantern reveal a pair at rest
transfigured by the artist’s mind
who reached with tip and stroke celeste?
muted pastel shades of gold and cream
are they the outward paths of dreams?
When sleep will have its mystic reach
Wend like streams without a source
A pair that compliment and rest sublime
Muzzled together the mother and the foal
Birthed from her womb to cherish as they sleep
The branches of the...
