Tempest
I always find myself
here on the shelf
on the green-gray cusp
the violent brink
As the tumult resumes
such billowing plumes
of grey-green clouds
issuing their warning
Whether evening or morning
so unmistakable
a covenant unbreakable
by any human hand
Still able to remand
the chances of life
the penitence of strife
always to be paid in full
Leaving me clinging
to a poem
where my spirit can safely roam
free within any tattering wind
here on the shelf
on the green-gray cusp
the violent brink
As the tumult resumes
such billowing plumes
of grey-green clouds
issuing their warning
Whether evening or morning
so unmistakable
a covenant unbreakable
by any human hand
Still able to remand
the chances of life
the penitence of strife
always to be paid in full
Leaving me clinging
to a poem
where my spirit can safely roam
free within any tattering wind

MAN AND SIN
MAN AND SIN
Sin, you are a cause to suffer.
How can man be such a sinner?
Man can commit it by mistake,
and his sorrow brings him great ache.
He will try to find a way out.
If he does not, he endures doubt.
Remorse comes to start his own hell;
living that, his joy he will kill.
Don't tell me that man can insist
on his wrongs that his life exhaust.
How can man go on and bear that,
which can smother his poor, wrecked heart?

Listen, hear, the music tapped on

The Book of No
Your pages are filled with extraordinary lines and unfamiliar settings
Beautiful phrases contradicting each other and sentencing your reader
Myriads of words transcending an imperfect truth from a not so divine origin
A beloved book for many, a disturbing manifesto for others
You claim to be the unique beacon of morality for this suffering world in need of hope
But you appear as a fanatical child with a voracity for self-love
You find yourself squirting your ink in a hostile environment
Trying to impose your will on the disobedient legions

Designated Feet / Simple
trying to make simplicity out of
our infinite psychoeXpansion
as to contrive an explanation of
self that will satisfy self.
The
"loss for words" only fuels our fumbling
to "find", or rather create,
adequate Truth.
No one ever said the inner and outer
fragments that subsume our
"perception" of what is, (as
compared to what one wishes to be),
would be a Pretty Picture, but in the
course of the workings of hu'man ego,
we will pick it up...

THE TROUBLE I HAVE IN ME
Do I love trouble?
Who doesn’t love a good spirit,
Knowing it’s poison?
I will drink to our pleasure
(And reflect at my leisure)

Everything is all there is.
Nothing is all there was,
and all that ever will be.
Everything is nothing
multiplied by zero.
My child is dead.
Lifelong grief.
Lifelong sorrow.
(Period).
Everything is everywhere.
Nothing is everywhere.
Oh,oh...lost his grip on duality.
(What a shame).
If everything was nothing, could
anything be real and eXist?
Of course not....

Don't shoot
I live in a world with blood stained memorials of young black men,
There is blood on our government's hands, and they don't give a damn.
While there's thousands of us dying in the streets, crying justice and peace,
They're getting richer and sending in swat teams.
George Floyd, Bothom jean, Those men were innocent,
George was shopping, and Bothom was eating ice cream.
There will never be peace for us, and justice is a fever dream.
If there is no justice, there is no peace.
The president wears a crown of thorns and sits on a throne made of...
