Imprisoned by Lies
An innocent man behind bars is free in his heart
Even when the law has failed him
While a guilty man will always be on the run
Whether he knows it or not
It will eat away at his soul
The same could be said for those who have fallen
Having believed lies
They will embrace it and live in it
And not for one single minute they will open their eyes
Reality is too harsh for some
It is a prison cast upon the hearts of many
Who think they know the truth and will fight for it
Unable to perceive the sinister designs with them...
Even when the law has failed him
While a guilty man will always be on the run
Whether he knows it or not
It will eat away at his soul
The same could be said for those who have fallen
Having believed lies
They will embrace it and live in it
And not for one single minute they will open their eyes
Reality is too harsh for some
It is a prison cast upon the hearts of many
Who think they know the truth and will fight for it
Unable to perceive the sinister designs with them...

so be it
hunted redemption belittling simple faith
fated honesty breathes deeply then exhales coveted justice
with a vow she will rain vengeance upon them
deeply rooted good ole boys club sits in a watchtower of gluttony
with thoughts of superiority
thinking the elitist dragons will never be brought down
are you yet plagued you of no faith?
evil begat evil injected into your souls, rot
it will be done unto your heads as nature dictates
you are of an unnatural order
from the womb to the grave polluted
you are after your own kind,...

THE TRAP OF CATEGORIZING
Our day-to-day existence
is continually being
bombarded with efforts
to categorize everything
from A to Z and beyond.
This is especially true
when it comes to we humans.
In our minds, we practice
analyst management:
We categorize by gender,
height, weight, looks, gay, straight,
performance, education, religion,
ethnicity, morality, values,
tastes, talent, etc., etc.
Yes, perhaps in some disciplines
such as science and medicine
category analyst is essential.
But for me, and speaking
only for me,...

herself she placed on display
the naked lady
wears her nothing on
the sunshine
shows her freckled skin
from hair to knees
feet hidden below walls
even the young boys
she her look unashamed
her curtains still open
her eyes still closed
the sun moves away
each her hours pass
come night now
she proves herself
the open window breathed
eyes still peeking
wears her nothing on

JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED
JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED
Sadly we're always being looked upon and critiqued
by people for whom we do and do not even know.
Simply by our title, occupation or possible association
or even by possessions we chose to or not to show.
We often judge by our nationality or ethnic color
sometimes even by the awards that we have received.
By an occasion or even often church affiliation
comes down to what we choose to or not to believe.
Why are we judged on what and how much we spend?
or even questioned why we gave or did not give. ...

MAGA
They've got a trigger finger itch
the likes of which you ought believe
are the first person shooter glitch
installed since Adam first beat Eve
and bruised that finger in the act
but blamed it all on the lady
since testosterone negates fact
and proceeds to call it shady.
Yet some of us are poison free
and see abuse through neutral eyes,
to mark susceptibility,
which bullies see as their next prize,
(in a one on one conspectus)...
but when meek numbers grow in size
those fuckers will respect us,
and all the...

Prejudice
Shame when you have to blame a poet for being narrow-minded, self centered, chauvinist,anti-semitic, xénophobe and more to say the least.......... Is he an illiterate person ?
''The poet is a cosmopolitan human being''
It seems that man was not born from Adam and Eve but from different fathers and mothers, some directly from dust and water, their acts are fair, their feelings are human, and their connections are normally interactive, while others, alas ! from gold and precious stones" it's what they blindly think"..
These ones, think they are...

Confessions
Satan had returned wearing a dress
Pulling at my mental, but I'm not stressed
She tried to line me up with all the rest
But I'm a loner by nature unlike the rest
Offered to drink of her cup
A chalice filled to the brim with lust
"Sit down with me and please do sup"
I have tasted greed and know the disgust
She offered me conversation in front of the fire
We spoke of pride, envy, and of Hell's desire
The fire had grown, the heat was intense
We threw in gluttony for it's sulfurous scent
Our conversation was...

not a prayer
prayers for those
trapped by
war
prayers to feed
the hungry
prayers to house
the homeless
prayers for those
suffering from
addiction
the funny thing
about prayer
is that without
action
they are a lot like
a car without an
engine
they just don't
go
anywhere

Behold the deepest light, of the tender fire"
-Saint Marco, 1664.
She likes to carry a bible.
I don't judge too harshly.
There's worse things.
As a child, in her home country,
she sold matchsticks by the bundle.
At twelve, they're expected
to sell them door to door,
where the lanterns were kept bedside.
Three dollars American, to them,
was a day's pay like their fathers.
But blue-eyed buyers got a break.
Because a pale-eyed baby...
