Repeat Offender
Pessimistic fool by nature or so it seems
Always waiting for the other shoe to drop
Past the double talk and random schemes
Still unable to make all this madness stop
Change is inevitable it’s a product of time
Careless actions leading to another bender
Found guilty but never committed a crime
A social stigma spawning a repeat offender
Always waiting for the other shoe to drop
Past the double talk and random schemes
Still unable to make all this madness stop
Change is inevitable it’s a product of time
Careless actions leading to another bender
Found guilty but never committed a crime
A social stigma spawning a repeat offender

Don't Judge Me, Look At Yourself
People always ask me, are you alright?
You looked bummed out
Or they say Cheer Up!!
Smile!!!
What's the matter with you?
And I just stare at them
Nothing is wrong with me
Must be something with my face
Or my eyes that makes me look angry, sad or crazy
Some little girl no more then 7 walked up to me yesterday
She handed me a flower and told me to cheer up
It made me smile
I felt like taking the flower & shoving it down her throat
Piss off fucker!

Careless Whispers
How do you address the deepness of the nonsense of negativity, that has come from those who are hell bent on saying what they want to say to you. 🤬 For sure it's necessary to understand that what we say to someone, without explaining the reason, or the need for not having a discussion to clear the air, and to take out the negativity, that has been thrown around like a run away train on the wrong tracks. But yet you are entitled to your own, personal opinions as well as I am entitled to mine. For sure we can never make a wrong RIGHT, without clarity and pure understanding of what was...

The Misfit So Alone
On a sleepless night I recall on the past
Of old days when I was young in school
Of the friendships we thought would last
And how desperately I wanted to be cool
There was something about the in-crowd
And how popular so many wanted to be
And though we never really said it out loud
Some wished to be like them to a degree
It’s in our nature to be accepted
Even if we didn’t know how to speak
Deep down we want to be respected
Flaws and all makes us each unique
This is for the eccentrics and the misfits

Observing from the Treetops
She said I was “so quiet”.
I smiled and thought
that’s because I have little to say
about comings and goings I can’t track,
drama and gossip I never understand,
faceless names I’ll forget tomorrow.
Your words buzz around my head like gnats
and I am not a part of all that.
It’s not that I don’t try to speak.
My commentary is simply
the wrong shape
to penetrate their ear holes
Words tumble from tongue to floor
getting nothing but blank glances
as if I farted or confessed an unsavory sin
or made random...

Halestorm, Coltrane Thoughts With A Red Hot Chaser
Found a girl bad for my health
rock
sleaze
sex appeal
dripping from the tip of her waxed fingers
stinging burn from a
raging flame
the same that mesmerises the moth
the way it would bash head first into a light globe
tink, tink, tink
futility and headaches all round
I raise my glass to the stupid fucker
thinking about the amount of windshields I’ve run into
and that old joke crops up
what’s the last thing to go through
a bugs mind when it hits your...

Another Colossus?
Whiles valiantly attempting slumber I heard a broadcast, which I'm certain was the radio, regarding singer Kate Smith. Though long deceased, she is just now finally getting into trouble about singing a racist song or two. I do not sympathize with her since I am convinced that I would have gotten into Dutch right away had I been the culprit singer.
It is noteworthy that there is a now disgraced statue of her that has been removed from it's place of honor and covered up by a cloth. I am all for it. In fact, we should regularly replace all statuary every twenty years or so....

justice
A corrupt framework,
in the inner workings -
of all forms of work,
here in this world.
I expect only injustice.
I expect only inhumanity.
I expect only self service.
Of… Humanity.
Because…
The only justice -
Exists in the transcendence
of… Justice.
An occurrence -
that exists
in a spiritual/intellectual process
of… Exits.
You cannot hurt me -
because I am not here,
in your nation state city,
governed in structures of fear.
You cannot manipulate me -

Paralytic Politics
Upside down
it's how I see
like the bat
swimming in an aquarium
no radar
with the eyes closed
it's how I see
like the octopus
spinning its tentacles
hyperbolic helicopter
through a periscope
it's how I see
the blowfly
submerged in desires
with the head buried
it's how I see
the hummingbirds
the saviors
the redeemers
upside down
it's how I see
what do standing
other gentlemen see...

cave man
(sensory overload)
I'm not fucked up
The world is
I just try to not step
in its shit too much
It may not look like it
but my head is ten feet
by ten feet
And it's usually overcrowded
So I try
to sneeze it out
Cough it out
Shit it out
Anything
I'm always staring out
the entrance of this cave
It takes a lot out of me
just to squeeze both eyes out
of the hole
I pull my hair back
because it gets snagged on buildings
and in crowds
And too much closeness ...

Exception to the Rule
Exception to the Rule
Every man
believes himself
an exception
to the rule,
that many things
he still might be
but never
just a tool.
His wisdom is
an insight of
how different
that he is,
when just affirming
this is true
negates
he's such a wiz.
He takes up time
and space
from her
to tell that he's not,
when just withholding
her the floor
decodes
the kettle pot.
Each excuse
excuses him
from being ...
