I represent the misfit daughter and sons,
the truly underneath ones.
The ones you would like to forget,

The freaks, the geeks, the weirdos

Life
Not a poem . Just to say that if I do not reply to a message there is always a reason .
Last week I had 12 injections in my back for pain relief . Life hasn’t been great one way or another but I hate going on about my life . That’s why I write stuff not related to me in the slightest. People make assumptions they have no idea how you are feeling or what you are experiencing yourself . It hurts me that people think if you don’t reply to a message you can’t be bothered. Hell I don’t even know why I am writing this but I am not a person who doesn’t care . The problem is I care too much .

Things You Could Do That Would Hurt me More
Rip through my flesh
- anywhere, no need to be picky -
with a medium quality knife
like from one of those red handled sets Target sells.
Pour whatever stings most into the wound;
you'd know better than me.
Sew me back up slowly with a thick, rusty needle,
while some of the worst songs ever recorded are playing
like Bette Davis Eyes
or almost anything by Michael Bolton.
Put together a montage of video clips
of gut-wrenching cruelties,
the abject horrors that crush my soul
-racism, cruelty to animals, bullying-

my life would be a footprint on a pond
A fart from a butterfly
A hilarious joke
muffled by a fighter jet
If I died now
my tombstone would be misspelled
my legacy as secure
as a bus half off a cliff
"I thought we were going to die!"
