i would have to let her know

no more heartbreaks
you're only lonely
that's the way you choose to live
with no more heartbreaks
she wore moonlight
she looked so lovely
wearing nothing but moonlight
she wore it all night
winter's cold
i don't mind the cold

let it pass by spring
hopeful flowers
the bad weather came
the flowers withstood it all

I called to speak some words last night
and found you still asleep,
although there might've been some fright,
such company you keep.
I walked the path to where you dream
but in your own grave way,
you might have urged me on to scream
the words I came to say.
But all around the fresh mown grass
calmed me, as if this June,
had laid her lightest cloak on a lass,
