rain
sorrow rains inside me
looking cheerful but you know...
I'm lying to myself
seriously hurt, I withdraw
you get what I'm willing to show
a fake smile, like it's okay
it's tiring this game
trusts broken, take a long time to heal
if they do at all
gentle understanding, I love you
but I pull back when you don't get it
I just want to know my place
with or without you
sacred brokenness, my pain causes sadness
and I question
it makes you mad but I was never jealous
until you broke...

I can feel this rage boiling,
Bubbling to the top.
I can feel it catching fire,
Gathering heat nonstop.
Trampled on, belittled, and used,
With pain and anger suppression fused,
Cap to bottle where pressure grew.
A rageful burst ignites a flame,
A violent urge inside creates
An urgent need to purge what’s sane.
So I tipped the ladle and poured my pain,
Into molds I cast from shame,
Where molten bone is cooled with haste
To form the blackest glass to claws and fangs.
From iron ladle, fall tears like viscous...

Disguised Princesses
When beauty fades and all that's left, are betrayals, lies, and hatefulness.
Trying to hide yourself behind smiling emojis and it's all goods.
Doesn't mean that your words were misunderstood.
It's not like makeup, you can't hide the jabs.
The this and that or the that and this, and think the context was completely missed.
I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it's kind of hard to ignore the words that come out their mouth.

We all know the weevils who corrupt society
unchained dark adrenaline of a self-portrait
bleeding through the canvas peeling away
narcissistic flesh gaslighting low on self-esteem
making own paint from the blood of humanity
