Stories within stories within stories
Granite rocks are carved holding green inhabited valleys.
This place knows origin. A casting from a hill copper leafed light. Strange deities live in these spaces. No names were given to these fearful spirits. This is the old hearth of the village, where strange blessings and exorcism hang.In old curved curses. between malady and persuasion. In each folk tale these appear. Side walkers, cord dancers, lion tamers, snake charmers, outcasts and scapegoats.
They are never your typical family though we all have seen the likes of them.
Their house abandoned and emptied now....

demo crew on standby
grandpa was a master builder
building with an eye for expansion
for growth & adaptation
to support many generations
none of those short-sighted greed-blinded mansions
20 rooms for one dude
he was a man for every season
& I paid attention
as current events expose a rotten foundation
I'm reminded of his philosophy
when the integrity of a structure
is no longer sound
tear it down
don't leave it standing
causing further dangers
pay attention to the issues
& don't repeat them
construct it...

To all of those that have based your political decisions on any type of prejudice we truly pray that you receive all that you vote for.

I shall not be blind to injustices, to see that I live comfortably,as it tramples humanity. I say I see to much to be quiet, so I throw my voice into the ocean of injustices to cause ripples, create waves to drown it out. How can I sit quietly as my heart screams out. no more than yesterday's phantasms?
specters drifting across a barren landscape
too foolish to pay any heed to the errors of our fathers
or the fallout from every previous foul deed
those men who valiantly fought or tragically fell
directed by a madman's selfish hand
where they were gathered
& ruthlessly enslaved
countless numbers completely erased
living now only the nightmares of a few surviving souls
mourning their unforgotten existence
