Annoying People
Can I have a life without you?
You come at me,
Like you have something to prove.
But, you're all I want to lose.
My life is not about you.
I mostly stare at my shoes.
Trying to avoid eye contact,
With people who don't amuse.
I constantly doubt you.
You're unaware and you're confused.
I watch you as you come at me,
Like you have something to prove.
If I tried to vouch for you,
While I'm on a short fuse,
I'd blow up in your face on stage,
Your death is breaking...

I see the truth-i so desperately choose to refuse; I soak within illusions- because they're comfortable.... like being fully clothed- with a decent pair of shoes; things aren't all too bad, when one's locked inside a room;

Stale Air
The self loathing is so god damn disingenuous
If you weren’t all so boring you’d be fun, if you were all fun, you’d be obnoxious
Just a little in the middle
Can I get a smirk or giggle
A shaft of sunlight through this gloomy plight
You ain’t wrong
but you certainly ain’t right
I don’t know why everything has to be a fight
It’s pretty fucking lame
Everywhere I look it’s just more of the same
I don’t know how we got here but I’m tired of breathing stale air
