Mirror?
What is a mirror if not a mirror?
Is it a thick haze
That almost obscures everything except the glaze
That is the tears coating your eyes?
Scars and wounds tell a tale
With a certain charm
That never seems to be honest.
And what was in the moment
The greatest feat with danger and harm
You'd rather just be modest?
Pain
And torture
And physical stress
And a never ending battle to do your best
Is all forgotten because you got through it.
The mirror doesn't reflect
But projects
As all the pain...

Glare from the Willow Tree
As I lie in a spot designated only for me,
The peering eyes from another send a taser through my chest.
"Who's there?"
No reply.
The grass shivers with the wind, frightened and alone,
While the Willow tree ahead grows massive in size.
I can't escape it's grasp.
I'm in a trance.
"Let me free!"
The coo of the raven immediately sends my heart out of shock.
It's been watching with a grimacing look,
Disapproval and disappointment liters the air.
Standing up, I cast a stone that lies perfectly next to the root, ...

Wrong and right .
Her life is a constant dance between what she feels is wrong and right. She’s been a Catholic most of her life distanced and not totally agreeing with the mighty controversy of the guilt of receiving involved in believing. Would God really be this demanding? Would he ask you to enter a conflict that starts in absolutes that leads to conflict then hate that pick fights armed with guns carried by anger and explodes the vulnerable who didn’t speak but where told?

It is a hell of a war for many soldiers, but some of them thrive and know how to survive and let others do the dying
it is also sexy, running in shot-up streets and ruined buildings, firing into glassless windows in case the enemy might be lurking inside
what they manage to kill are mostly panicked, weaponless civilians and children in their cribs

bottlecap ramble: 3 sides of black & white
maybe it's the drink but I just can't stop thinking
about the level of ugly in this world
and how safety in numbers is also a danger
when like minded spirits find other haters
the damage done by even one
is amplified exponentially when they all gather together
believing they validate their hatred & cruelty by sheer volume
and it works...so many defiantly coming out of the shadows
showing their true colours
when they see their own secret loathing
so boldly displayed in the hearts of others
there's no fear in them to step up...

I wonder if cats get depressed?
I ask this because they're always seen sitting at the window,staring out all day.
Ready too prey all night, without delay.
What could cats possibly get depressed about?
Maybe they didn't get their favourite,'Kitty-Kat' snacks. Carnation milk instead of full fat.
Catching a mouse instead of a juicy rat,that he nonchalantly dumps onto his owner's respectful room mat.
Hating the face,of his owner's youngest brat. Who insists on yanking at his whiskers. So of course,Tom cat snarls at brat. Warning...

hope is lost in your travesty
time flys by
and into the dump
