Weeds
Clods of sods wither
unseeding the charlatans.
Weeds grow words reaching,
unseeding the charlatans.

Nature and life
Nature breathes us life
spurn its socour, so selfish
hastens our demise
So great its bounty
to abuse it and despise
bind that undermines
Burnt our bridges, crossed
to late, for the amens repost
inadaquacy
Ashes of what could be
paradise, dreams unachieved
our stupidity
spurn its socour, so selfish
hastens our demise
So great its bounty
to abuse it and despise
bind that undermines
Burnt our bridges, crossed

Summer Haiku from the Cafe
Summer Haiku from the Cafe
petunia lass
tastes the grass
with her thighs
single rose petal
among the raindrops
on her navel
Puckish grin
on her androgynous lips
paints the moon
nature’s mattress
a bed of peat moss
for bare skin
eyelashes
shade the fire
of her irises
dark shadings
of midnight
her mascara
