Daydreamed about Putting Gum in Her Hair
High School
She sat in front of me
Long beautiful blond hair
The fantasy of all the boys
Envy of the girls too
I hated her easy looks
Had daydreams of putting gum in her hair
A whole wad of it
Would have had to cut it all off
Then she wouldn't be so special
Never did it
High School was a mess for me
Undiagnosed ADD
Mind wandering all the time
Grew out of it eventually
I think back on those juvenile delinquent days
Should have been sniffing glue with the other drones
The blond with long hair...

feeding on lives to calm my hunger
you darling, are just as dark
