Sands of Time
When can I walk on the sands of time
Let it sift through the soul
Leaving footprints behind
For the wind to sweep away?
I fell on the sand
To have it burn me and scorch
From past regrets and remorse
Downy wings try to erupt
From leathered and weathered skin
To go up in a plume of smoke
The sands of time have no feeling
They do not judge
They are just and we must walk our path
Let it sift through the soul

To make this dear life clearer,
And the portal between the two
Is the wavelet surface ripple
Showing, like a participle,
What we should or should not do.
But if to this a man is blind
His soul will ever steep in hate
And his definition most unkind
Of what is, and, what is not great.
It's the golden rule to unbind
Great apes from an unkind fate!
Of alternate realities
