Tumbling Object
Oooops slip and fumble.
My hand reaches to catch it.
Tumbling out of my grasp.
In slow motion I watch it fall.
Through its parabolic arc.
I see the images as it rotates down.
Recognising it as a Favorited mug.
Emotional attachment floods over me.
Iridescence warm feelings as well.
Memories strolling home.
Via the park behind her home.
Were I found this now spinning mug.
First a ping, which sounded ok.
Then a bounce, followed by a thud.
A resounding crack, not so good.
Several other...

Can you hear the silence
I yearn for the silence to hear me
I run from the noise that assaults me
I breathe but my breath can’t hear me
I live for the silence that lives within the trees

I AM NOT IN A RUSH
IT
seems like the whole
world is in a mad dash
or insane rush to have
desires and longings fulfilled.
IT
seems like the desires of the
human self cannot wait for
a more beautiful moment;
it must be fulfilled in the
time allotted by selfishness.

seems the prize of the long
moments in hibernations are
not worth the quick win of the moment
as the beauty of eternity is
exchanged for the unripe
fruit of the hasty that leaves hunger.

As sweet as chocolate, your words tasted
Like a silken drape coating my tongue in luster
And as swiftly as sand in water, my heart immersed
Sinking deep with the riveting flow, wrapped up in a flicker
When everything ceased, leaving only a lingering scent
My hands kept grasping at a waft of what you left
Counting down seconds, yearning for the next
Holding my breath until your warmth was felt
