This is the place where I have bled out for fourteen years
Teenage angst, college breakdowns, chronic illness, religious deprogramming... From one extreme love affair to another
Y'all were here for it all
You were my witnesses, my confidants... My friends
No other website will be like this place
No people like the ones here
No place where I have friends like you
I've never shared my poetry anywhere else
This was it for me and I only learned that it was closing down today ...

my choice is my calling

eternally healing...
means more than you might think
at least it does to me
it's sharing & giving
with no recompense
& then returning within
restoring & tending to personal needs
I give them my eyes...my ears...
my shoulders...my hands
help lift the weight off their backs
I comfort...& move with compassion
offer support
deflect & calm emotional storms
I sit with them
listen
take on their troubles
& when all is settled
...their world steady...
eternally healing...

Cocoon of Strength, Wings of Longing
In a world so cold, I retreat, I hide,
Wrapped in silk, where my wounds confide.
A cocoon of silence, a space to mend,
To grow, to heal, to transcend.
Elusive—I vanish before you see,
The real me, the depths of my history.
The hurt, the scars, the past abused,
A child left bare, unshielded, bruised.
No guardian stood, no arms held tight,
No whispered words to say "You're alright."
So I vowed, with the fire inside my chest,
"When I grow, I’ll protect me best."

I cleared the last of my things
from grandmother’s house.
Drawers coughed up receipts.
The closets held the breath
of people who died standing.
And there—

Folded like a flag.

Love, a Vanishing Mirage
I have chased love like a wayward star,
Only to find it flickering from afar.
A shimmering glow, a whispered dream,
But never the haven it once had seemed.
I poured my soul into hands untrue,
Sculpted castles in skies so blue.
Yet each foundation, cracked and worn,
Left me adrift, tattered, and torn.
They spoke in tongues of forever’s embrace,
Yet behind soft words lay a hollow space.
A lover, an imposter, a master of disguise,
Leaving me drowning in echoed goodbyes.
I stitched my heart with fragile thread,

I got caught in alchemy
But in the end it was only me
Our conversations were like magic
I’ll miss them the most it’s oh so tragic
So many similarities
Even laced with hilarities
I could not see how you didn’t feel this too
A meeting of the minds as well as bodies too
So much chemistry when we kissed
How is it wrong to feel such bliss

Clouded Desires
Just tell me
That the way I look into your eyes feels too real
That finger tips on your neck make your heart begin to feel
That music under neon lights made you miss me too much
I’m really not in any rush
I’m only being me
So gentle under an exterior so tough
But that has never been enough

For all the things you sadly fear
