The Lord of the Poems
He scrubs off the dust
Stock-piling on the shelves of his mind
His battles with writer’s block
Has disrupted and crippled him blind
He perfects his deserted wooden partner
Freeing her of idle hands imprisoned in webs
So many masterpieces were birthed on her mahogany
Stitched together with his will and the ink of his quill’s threads
He ignites his candle
Indenting its motives on her corner
He fishes his pond for his thoughts
Never quite understanding his bait is a foreigner
He opens the gates
That has been...

before time was invented
Before time was invented
A long time ago when our world was much bigger than it is now and had a landscape pleasing to the eye and no steep hills to climb Since seasons had not been divided into summer spring, autumn, and winter, the weather was mild and no one knew the what a day was when it rained, not too often people walked outside and took a shower.
The land was full of potatoes, carrots, and beans as for meat there was Dogger Bank with millions of cattle and wild hogs, no one was going hungry A man from Glendale was walking across a field to meet another man to see...

Stillicide
On the day the UK drowned
the sun’s shoulders broke,
slumping the sunset into eternal twilight
All one underwater breath,
deep sea divers tried to pack
the sea into suitcases
Baggage bridled waves
o’er castles and housing estates,
stealth, the ravens skyfall
legends written on drowned pirates’ skulls,
(full fathom) five brides on continental shelf
coral and pearls are merely crust on sunken ships
travelling light
can life rafts only hold one soul?
stowed in hearth of jigsaw’ed city
flames cripple...
