The List
First that it's 9:10 pacific time and
this time 93 years ago Hart Crane
was about to finish up his last full
day on the planet. He has no idea that he's about to get drunk, make an unwelcome advance on a sailor
before jumping overboard, 300 miles from Cuba. His way of apologizing, one supposes. Body never found.
The second is that I did not sleep at all on the 5th of April which was the 28th anniversary of Allen Ginsberg's
death because I was about to catch a flight to Honolulu at. 5 a.m. on the 6th and I was too...

When you don't to talk me
It's seems that there is a difference between you and I for what happen, to when we use to communicate with each other, on so many levels of interest with SUBCONSCIOUSNESS of our thoughts. Why we can't get back to the point of doing the things, that bought us closer then close, for sure what really happen to all that, between each other as one. 🤔 FOR don't we still have that kind of love, still between us in ways that, we still have respect and honor and trust. For sure I've notice the deepness of the way, we use to look at one another with a raw and uncut slice of emotions, but now I...

Gaza and the pope
Gaza and the pope
The pope who died was known to cry
when told of the horror in Gaza
he sent Israel a mild-mannered rebuke
When the pope was young, he rode
a big motorbike in Buenos Aires
persistent rumor tells he did more riding
The question hangs in the air
has he got a son?
If so, was his mother a prostitute he
had tried to lead away from sin
To make matters worse, was she a Jewish
Was the rumor, even as baseless
hanging there, hindering the pope
to speak out against the horror in Gaza?

DON'T TOUCH IT'S NOT YOURS
It's me again the story teller of unspoken words ✍️ What I would like to rap about something, that happens more often than we think. 🤔 Man to woman and woman to man that you deem it necessary to CHEAT, when you have a person that you claim to love with honesty and truth and trust, with a positive commitment with consistency and real communications to articulate why you chose them. 🤔 Now let's dive deeper than deep, into the box of secrets 🤨 hiding in the dark. 🌑 For sure it's more than a statement, but yet a question ❓ Why when see someone...

Civilized Stage (Re-Mix)
Civilized Stage
elected by landslide
this surgery of mine
is not cosmetic
quite the contrary
it's absolutely
de-constructive
compelled to quell
psychological pain
it's not enough
dis-connecting brain
this precipitous
fall from Grace
takes up valuable space
my biological footprint

BRIDGES
I can almost understand why people leap from bridges,
Why they stand there, hearts heavy with fissures.
In a world that screams and shouts,
Yet never hears the whispers of despair that drown out.
The weight of silence is a killer,
A noose that tightens, makes the soul a thriller.
On the edge, they see it all:
The shattered dreams, the pain that stands so tall.
What’s it like to feel so hollow,
To search for hope in darkness, but only find sorrow?
They look down at the water, reflecting a void,
Each ripple a...

morning
Such novel thoughts
As I pushed your hair from in front of your eyes
To read your fragile gaze while we fall into bed
Moon lit beams shine on our interlocked hands
Counting the freckles on my shoulder
I could lay here forever
Humming you to sleep
Adjusting the blankets to make sure to rest comfortably
So fondly I feel for your soul
Morning comes and you’re so quick to undress me
I was hoping to undress your mind before
Expecting to hear you dreamt of us
I know I did ~

The Lingering Taste
Our love affair did not end
with the clapping of thunder,
but with a soft whimper
of acceptance.
You remained and softened
inside of me
as if surrendering to what
would never be again.
As you pulled out,
I caught a fleeting glimpse of your
skilled and accomplished shaft,
remembering how I
pressed you to my face.
The kisses I planted there
now bloom bittersweet upon my tongue—
a final, lingering taste of us.

mama dilemma
9 of 30
I still hear laughter through the floorboards
& smile to myself
even as my heart constricts
...for a long painful moment
the sound doesn't ring quite as true
...slightly fractured...
it's the thing that makes a mother flinch...
she was in love...giddy with it
sighing over her coffee
smiling secretly as she washed dishes
it's been a rough few years
filled with isolation...medications...changes
retreating from a world no longer welcoming
I wanted more than anything for this to be her bliss ...

She Didn't Want To Go Home
She was the woman with no name
She came in when they were leaving their offices to go home for the day
Some of the staff tried to be polite and say hello in passing
She never said a word back
She would look at the floor and nod slightly
She was there to clean, that's all
She knew the truth
The truth was that none of these people would give her the time of day if she was outside the building
None of these people would ever be caught dead in her neighborhood
They all made more money in one day then she did in a week
She liked it best...

Figure It Out
I hope one day you finally discover your worth and stop fucking with these losers.
Your dating life is like watching the worlds longest death by a thousand cuts suicide note play itself out in live action and it's the saddest goddamn play I've ever seen.
Once you figure out who the fuck you are, you'll find out who I wrote this for.

THE OLD CHICKEN COUP
There she stood with tears rolling down her face and cheeks
Looking downward – such innocence – mild and meek
Her first trip to the slaughter house was no joke
Proved to be a one-sick hoax!
Slowly but surely – she told us the story
Leaving out NOT the gory!
“I was asked by dad
To join him fast
To pick out a chicken
“O Good Rid dens!
At last – no fret
I’m picking out my very first pet!"
Is what I thought
When my breath I caught!"
So, with joy in my heart,
And exuberantly joyful at the...
